The design of the product has a mistake. If you make slack in the rope you introduce the risk of malfunctioning or even destroying this part. This is the Third one I bought in 10 years (2 cars). Price at the Sharan Galaxy or Alhambra dealer is the double,the same part. Prices in BNX & BRD.

this was the cheapest i could find anywhere online.easy fitting with allen key,original was broken by tyre firm air gun ,common problem.
