The Lip Bar Vegan Liquid Matte Mini Lipstick Duo Kit, High Pigment & Long Lasting, Curlfriend + Savage

I LOVE The Lip Bar’s matte lip gloss in these colors and all of the other colors that I have purchased. Women always ask me about this gloss when I wear Bawse Lady, which is a vibrant red. They also ask me about the brand when they notice I eat and drink and my lip gloss does not come off. Once you try it, you will always want to wear this lip gloss. It’s the only brand I now buy. Please note that a little goes a long way. So, a tube is long-lasting because of the excellent coverage (and I don’t have thin lips). I 100% recommend this product and this brand. I also use the cream cheek color and it is GREAT and a little goes a long way (DO NOT use a lot because you will look like a clown).

I used Savage as my base color and Curlfriend in the center, and I’m really loving this combination. Curlfriend is definitely my favorite of the two. If you’re planning to wear these two colors alone, I recommend putting a little concealer and powder on your lips first to help the color last longer. This photo/video was taken after 8 hours of wear, with no gloss added, and I’m impressed with how well the color held up. There are only a few minor imperfections after wearing it all day. I also really like the angled applicator. It makes it much easier to line and shape your lips precisely while applying the product. For fall, I think these shades are perfect. Adding a little gloss would definitely make the colors pop even more, but honestly, I’m satisfied with the finish on its own. Definitely a lip combo I’ll be wearing again.

Absolutely love TLP and will continue to support this brand. I've purchased several other colors. Rich Auntie is my absolute favorite. Regarding this set, the brown is pretty. The pink was totally different from the model, it didn’t look like that on my lips at all and I am the same complexion/lip color as the model. That pink would pop on a darker complexion.

The tubes are small but that's fine as most lipsticks get stale and rancid before you can finish them so they're probably just the right size. Packaging is cute and doesn't feel or look cheap. I was excited to put them on but I found myself stop right before applying the lipstick due to the smell. I got a whiff of what smelled like paint thinner - just my personal comparison. I sniffed them and thought to myself there's no way I can in good conscience wear these on my lips as they probably contain ingredients that aren't great for consuming (how many times we subconsciously lick our lips?). Anyways, I decided to go ahead and try them on since I already paid for them. The application is smooth and they are nice and creamy. I followed the instructions on the box to 1st apply the darker shade to the outer perimeter of my lips then followed by the lighter shade on the inner area of my lips, I didn't blend with the wand or my finger, as suggested by the instructions, I just pressed my lips together until it blended, which worked fine, so application is 5 stars for me. The colors are beautiful and goes well with my skin tone. I blotted the darker shade with a napkin before taking this pic but forgot to blot the lighter shade so that's why it doesn't look matte in the picture. The colors get 5 stars. Non-stop wear would probably be 5 stars as well, as it would not budge when I tried to wipe it off with a napkin - some olive oil did the trick in getting the lipstick off my lips, with no staining, however, I did not wear it all day, I only had it on for a few minutes to test them. Overall, I gave the product 4 stars because I love the shades BUT the smell of them makes me second guess wearing them as it may not be healthy to do so. I will do some research into each ingredient to see if I want to go ahead and wear them or sadly discard of them.
