Light never comes on so I can’t pair, what am I doing wrong?

First make sure both devices are adequately charged. Make sure that the buds are not linked to another device near by. The buds will favor that device first. Before placing your buds in Bluetooth mode make sure your Bluetooth is turned off in settings on your phone. When you get your pulsating light on your buds turn on Bluetooth in your phone settings. The connection should be picked up very quickly. It would great if you turned off wifi and put the phone in airplane mode to form a direct link without other phone activity interfering with the link between buds and phone. By having Bluetooth turned off you are placed in control of the connection by initiating the on slide in settings. If this does not work you may be looking at a compatibility issue. Probably the best way to give extra functionality to an older speaker

I've been a fan of the Apple iPod Speaker dock as an excellent sounding device. But before purchasing the adapter my listening experience has been somewhat limited. I could only use the old iPod device with preloaded mp3 music or use the clumsy aux-in cable connection from other devices. But this bluetooth adapter supports bluetooth streaming from any iPhone or mobile device so I'm enjoying everything that Spotify/Youtube and other web-based services provide.Connection ir stable. You can pair only one bluetooth device at a time. The adapter remembers the last device paired.
