The Putnen Under Desk Elliptical Machine is very good. I read up on them and decided on this one and I am extremely happy with the machine. It comes all put together, the remote did need batteries and I needed an extension cord to plug it in which was no problem. The cord on the machine is not long at all. In fact, I would think most users would need to use an extension cord. The one thing I read is that the cord is at the top front of the machine which I felt was strange but causes no problems whatsoever. I simply sat down in my chair, put the machine by my feet, read the manual which is only a few pages long and was very easy to understand, ran it once or twice to test it out and that was it. You can use the remote for most functions or you can bend down slightly to power on and use the different functions on the machine itself. If I could do it properly anyone could do it. I am an older person with leg problems and bought it primarily for circulation. I cannot walk far at all before I need to stop. First time I used it I must have done 12 - 20 minute cycles and could have done more. I started out on level 1 and quickly went to level 6, I believe it has 10 or 12 levels. Of course, level 1 is very slow and goes faster with each level. Also I believe it has 2 or 3 cycles that are set on the machine, 20 minutes which is what it is set at when you get machine and 30 minutes which means it runs for that amount of time then shuts off and you just simply restart it again if you want to do another cycle. I could not believe how fast that 20 or 30 minutes went by. If I am going to be reading, watching TV, doing paperwork, etc for a few hours or more this machine is fabulous for all that and more. I read some comments about the noise level. I have super hearing and I could not hear any sound from it at all, not even a whisper of a sound. It is very stable and did not move a bit. It is not real small nor is it too big, just a nice size. It can be moved from room to room pretty easily, I would say you only need a little bit of muscle to pick it up and move to another room or closet to have it out of site. I must say though that I thought I would be moving it to the closet when not in use but want to tell you it truly is not a bad looking thing and because it is so easy to use, I see myself using it quite a bit, that I am just moving it to the side of my chair. As I said I read up on many of these machines before buying and the price for this was very good. One last thing I would like to add, it is so easy to use as the machine is doing all the work moving your legs for you because it is in the automatic mode. This is great for a lot of people who cannot for various reasons exert a lot of energy. There is a manual mode where you actually have to move your legs yourself to get the machine moving. I imagine this mode would be good for people who have no feet or leg problems. I believe most people buying this machine do not want to sit idle for so many hours and this machine is moving your feet and legs at all times getting that circulation moving which is so beneficial to your health. Purchased this due to a really bad back and unable to walk very far for exercise. Machine is light enough for me to pick up and move easily. Seems very well made and is very comfortable to use when sitting in my recliner. We have vinyl plank floors, so I had to purchase a mat to go underneath it to prevent it from moving. Works perfectly with the mat in place. It really does get your heart going and your legs moving. It provides the exercise I badly need. If you have floors that you can easily slide things on, then you will need a mat to keep it in place. Berle Bigelow

It works great except shoes do not fit well on foot pads. It seems it would work better without shoes, however shoes are were recommended when I questioned this. Controls and ease of operation are great.

I love this! It fits perfectly under my office desk and has helped me a lot with my constant need to move but still be able to type and make phone calls. I use it to help with my restless legs but it also feel like it’s helped with my leg circulation too. It’s quite enough to not disturb my coworkers in the cubicles around me. There was no assembly required I just took it out of the box and plugged it in. I use it at least 2-3 times a day for a minimum of 25+ minutes a day. I’d recommend this to others.

This is perfect for my 98 year old mother who needs light exercise and can't walk very far at one time. She can sit at the dining room chair and go through one of the "routines" that is setup to click on or she can change up the speed and direction. The only downside is that she needs someone to move it for her from one place to another if needed. It is a little too heavy for her to pick up as she is quite frail. It is quiet enough to have conversation during use and she invites everyone to try it out! Easy to use and very sturdy so it stays in place while using it -even on carpeting!

I ordered this for my sedentary 83 yo husband. I found it easy to set up and to use right away. works well to exercise legs. He likes to use it while watching TV but it cannot be used while he is seated at his desk bc there is not enough knee room.

Purchased this for my 90 year old mother who sits in a chair 99% of the day. It is very easy for her to operate. She benefits from the leg motion which helps her blood circulation. The remote makes starting and stopping and speed control so easy. Others visiting enjoy using this and find it very relaxing. I could see anyone benefitting from using this. We like this so much that I will be purchasing one for my wife and me to use.
