Q: Can i use a 1000 watt car subwoofer with this

Yes I use this amp on a Skar 800w rms subwoofer in the house and it threatens to break every window of said house so yes you can use car subwoofers but just be sure to wire them to 4ohms or this or any house amp will trip their built in circetbreaker. So in other word don't wire them like you would a car that being 1ohm-2ohms or lower. Only 4ohm or higher with this amp.

Q: What is the rms power of this amp?

Warning this is a 1000 watt RMS amp at 4 ohm not 500 watts !! I have the 500 watt model still in service almost 5 years now ...... Keep Freq low at subwoofer specs and go easy this amp will blow a cheap sub or cause damage to the amp if not used properly !!!
