Works wonderfully, easy to install, wanted to have some security video just for protection in any case, and does the job for me.

My car was rear ended last year and the other driver fled the scene before I could get any information, so I finally bought a dash cam in case something like that happens again. The quality of this camera is excellent for the price. The installation instructions are easy to follow, and the suction cup for the front is very strong and secure. The rear camera has a strong adhesive. Installation might be difficult in northern regions in winter because the adhesive won't stick very well. I placed the cords along the bottom of the interior of the car and secured them with Command clips. It may not look professional but it does the job. Once I had them set up and plugged in, the cameras turned on automatically when I started my car, and they shut off when I turned off the car. The video is clear and automatically records when the camera is jostled. You can also press record as needed. The video quality looks good at night as well. You can view recorded videos on the device whenever you want. I would rather have this and not need it than need it and not have it.

Bought this to replace an older camera that stopped holding the date and time. Used the same mounting bracket as the old camera. This has a smaller screen than my old camera but is easier to use and has the same angle of coverage and pixel count. Pros: Easy to install. Easy to configure. Small and unobtrusive in the front window. Middle resolution of 2.5K works well. Cons: The power is on the top left while the cable is run to the right. The backup camera cable plugs into the top right while the cable is run to the left. Not a big deal but worth noting. The screen is small, but I don't look at it while driving. Know I ordered a minicam so it is exactly what I wanted, but stepping down in screen size was more noticeable than I considered it might be. The power cord was exactly the right length to reach the lighter / power plug. If I had a bigger vehicle, it could have caused issues.

This Dashcam was recommended by a YouTuber (I hesitate to use the word "YouTuber" because a tuber is a potato. I was skeptical because the price was lower than I expected However, I am very impressed with this device. Great instructional booklet and straightforward installation. The video quality is outstanding. I haven't gotten around to installing the rear camera because I'm a proctologist (OK, I'm kidding about that), but I am, so far, pleased with this Dashcam. I didn't expect it to have a storage card, but it does (32Gb) which means you may want to acquire a card reader to view videos if you don't want to view them on the Dashcam.

For dash cams, this is by far the best value and bang for the buck. Everything necessary to install and use the cams in the package. The box contained instructions, a 32GB SD Card, the two cameras with the cabling, the windshield mount, and a hard plastic "pry" tool to gently run and hide the cables. The pry tool was invaluable and really simplified the installation process, which took me about an hour in total. I install things like this very slowly and meticulously, so your installation time might vary. We had 1 READ camera that did not work out of the box, but they replaced the unit right away under warranty and shipped it next day. The 32GB memory card doesn't hold a lot of video (maybe a few hours), but it's enough to get started and in some cases, might be enough if you only take short trips around town. This camera (model number S50) only supports SD Cards up to and including 256GB, which is the largest the camera will support. The instructions are important, so keep the manual handy after install to configure settings and set the date/time. Some of the things we really like about this model is you can turn the microphone off by default, there is no GPS tracking and no speed indicator. The connections are a little snug/tight at the suction cup mounting mechanism, so adjust the position of the cables so they clear. I decided to set the G-Sensor to "2" so it doesn't get easily tripped.

Was disappointed in the fact that you must use the “cigarette lighter” for this, without having the ability to have extra ports or anything else. Overall, it has great image quality.

First off, this is an okay enough dash cam. It records when the car is on, overrides old footage when the card is full, doesn't overheat, and has a decent microphone. But man do you get what you pay for...The camera doesn't support cards above 64Gb. The suction cup has lost grip 2 times in the last 3 months. The cables are long, but they take over 6 months to relax, and once they do, the cable length increases so much that it sags and has to be re-tightened. The backup camera has great quality, holds in place nicely, but the cable is obnoxiously long to route back to the dash cam. Also, the parked car recording works about 20% of the time for me. The cameras (front and back) are actually pretty good at recording at night, which is great. Despite being 2.5k and 1080p, the video is still grainy. You cant really read liscense plates with these unless you are directly behind the car you're recording. I'm still going to use mine since it does exactly what I need it to.

Clear footage during the day and night. It was super easy to set up and use. It is covered from all angles. SD card was a nice bonus ready to use straight out of the box. Wi-Fi and the app work well (once you get it set up), Definitely worth the money. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable dash cam setup. The rear camera works flawlessly

preis-leistung top! einfaches einsteigergerät, welches ohne grosse einstellungen funktioniert und die aufnahme beim start recht schnell startet. die einstellungen sind auf das nötigste reduziert. umfangreiche detaileinstellungen zu technischen parametern wie bildwiederholrate oder ähnlichem gibt es nicht und werden vom "normalo-user" wohl auch nicht benötigt. die frontkamera macht sehr gute videos. farben und schärfe gut. die rückkamera ist ein ganzes stück schlechter. verwaschen und eher farblos. dennoch ausreichend zur aufzeichnung des verkehrsgeschehens. mehr aber nicht. die verbindung per app/wlan klappt problemlos und schnell. die app ist recht flüssig bedienbar und verständlich. die sprachausgabe klingt blechernd und ist schwer verständlich. sie wird aber auch nicht wirklich benötigt. klappt auch alles ohne sie. bei der 1080er auflösung für beide kameras, werden etwa 22 gigabyte für 3 stunden video benötigt. wird nur die frontkamera genutzt verdoppelt sich die aufnahmezeit. alles in allem und in anbetracht des niedrigen preises eine kaufempfehlung, auch wenn sie natürlich nicht mit geräten in der 200-euro-klasse mithalten kann.
