The Best
I grow cuttings off my coleus plants. I have used many fertilizers and many soils. But now I have found the best I will not search no more. For this bone meal really does what it says it will do I've never had the roots of my plants grow so strong and beautifully and how my plants grow so beautiful faster now. I use Back to the Roots soil which is the best my plants never get over watered anymore with the soil and drains perfectly, and I mixed the Burpree bone meal into this soil and my plants and their roots of them has never grown so fast and so strong and healthy before. For strong roots make strong healthy plants and that is what you do for my plants and I Thank You for this product that does exactly what you say it does.

This Soil is Worth the Splurge!
Okay, so yeah, initially I choked a little at the price tag for Burpee's Premium Organic Potting Mix. It seemed a bit much for, well, dirt! But let me tell you, after seeing the results, I'm a convert! I decided to give it a try on some struggling seedlings I had going, and WOW! Within days I saw a noticeable difference. They perked right up, started pushing out new leaves like crazy, and just looked generally happier. Here's what I love about this stuff: It's ACTUALLY Organic: Knowing it's free from all those nasty chemicals gives me peace of mind, especially since I'm growing veggies. Excellent Drainage & Moisture Retention: This is KEY! My plants aren't getting waterlogged, but the soil stays nicely moist so I don't have to water every five minutes. No Gnats! Great for Seedlings AND Mature Plants: Used it for both with amazing results. Feeds My Plants: This soil is rich in nutrients, so my plants don't need as much fertilizer! Lightweight and Easy to Work With: No more struggling with heavy, compacted soil. This stuff is fluffy and easy to handle. Honestly, the value for money is there. Yeah, it's a little pricier than some other potting mixes, but you get what you pay for! Healthy, happy plants and knowing you're using a quality, organic product. Highly recommend! I'm buying more for all my gardening projects.

Saves my flowers from rabbits
Good product keeps the rabbits from chewing up my spring flowers before they even get a chance to bloom. Even seems to make the flowers grow a bit bigger.

Great product!
I have several roses and a lot of the leaves were getting yellow areas on them before finally going completely yellow. I had been using a different brand of organic rose fertilizer. Within a few days of using this plant food, the problem has completely stopped and all the new leaves look great. It's a more expensive product but worth it in the end.

Boosts Roots and Growth Naturally
Burpee Bone Meal Fertilizer is a solid choice for boosting root growth in tomatoes, peppers, and flowering bulbs. Easy to mix into potting soil, and knowing it’s OMRI-listed for organic gardening gives extra peace of mind. My plants responded quickly and looked healthier. Perfect for planting garlic bulbs and new ornamental grasses I planted.

Great for making your own fert mixes
Ooo the smell is strong on this one! But i will say this does not smell as bad as some fish fertilizers out there. I was looking for some cheap nitrogen fertilizer since I bought other fertilizers that were higher in phos and potash and wanted to focus on the vegetative/leaf growth of my plants. My plants love this, and this little bag is going to last me a long time since I only keep a handful of indoor plants. Succulents are thriving. Orchid leaves are green and strong after their blooms have died off; I'm hopeful for their future blooms to be big and strong as well.

An essential supplement / nutrient source for container gardens
My garden bed is about 20 feet by 4 feet, and this 3lb bag of Burpee Bone Meal Fertilizer gave me two good late-fall / early-winter slow-release soil nutrients. My garden bed is separate from the yard - so you can think of it like a container garden of a sort. After a couple of years of tending the garden, I asked my friend Rochelle to come have a look and give me her assessments and thoughts. She suggested that those garden seasons had probably drained the soil in the bed of essential nutrients; I'd not been using any kind of fertilizer, save coffee grinds, and she suggested bone meal. I added about 1.5 pounds of bone meal once the garden season was over - approximately November of 2023 and 2024. Year one, the effect on my garden's growth was dramatic. My cucumber vines, okra plants, squash vines, and tomato plants all grew really well and healthy. In year two, it became clear that simply adding these nutrients to soil needed to be supplemented by a top up of 50/50 top soil and compost, but that's not a fault in the Bone Meal supplement, just learning more about gardening.
