I own an Innova 3300 that over estimates voltages, 9V PS reads 10.5, 12V reads 13.8, 3.7V battery reads 6.24 what can I be doing bad??

A 12 volt car battery when fully charged is 12.6 to 12.7 and reading of 12 volts is considered dead. AGM batteries read a little higher
