When straightening hair, do you use this instead of heat protection sprays or do you still need them?

Sorry I dont straighten my hair but this stuff is great lasts forever and smells amazing. My daughter and I both use it.

The bottle appears the same as the one I purchased but mine does have "black caviar" written on the bottle as well Seems odd that they would stop stating "black caviar" as that is the whole point of this range of products !
