The main benefit of these pads is the salacylic acid ingredient. It's a miracle anti-inflammatory. Apart from that, they do what the manufacturer claims so they're good value.

I bought these to help clear my skin up post holiday and they've worked really well. They're a good price, convenient and work as described. My skin was a little dry at first so I'm gentle using them. The only downside is they're disposable, no recycling unfortunately.

This is one of the best face products I've ever used for my skin (I'm 72)They are very wet and refreshing do circles and don't scrub in one place, they are courser on one side than the other. I got them for small blackheads that had started to appear on the sides of my nose, which I've never had before because I've got very dry skin and they are normally associated with oily skin. My skin is really bright and healthy looking after only using these Clarasil pads a couple of weeks. My new skin care now is to use the pad don't rinse and follow it up with Nivea for men( yes I'm a woman)Anti-age HYALURONIC moisturising cream. My skin looks younger than it has for years. I think the men's Nivea is better than women's and has spf 15. I also smoke which doesn't help skin. I'm definitely very happy with my new routine. Will definitely buying Clarasil pads again

I've had pretty bad and persistent spots even since they first appeared as a teenager some forty years ago. Nothing I'd tried in the distant past had worked, so I ended up getting prescription meds to control them for much of my 20s. In my early 50s I decided it was high time to see if there was anything out there now that might work. Research recommended salicylic acid and/or benzoyl peroxide. So I tried this Clearasil wash, the Clearasil Ultra 5-in-1 pads (both of which contain salicylic acid among other things) and some Acnecide benzoyl peroxide cream and wash from a pharmacy. Daily washing with this Clearasil cream and, initially for a month or two, nightly use of the Clearasil pads before bed, cleared up the spots entirely after a couple of months of use. Two years on, I'm still using this Clearasil wash daily in the mornings and the spots stay away, with the odd exception every month or so if I eat too much sugar. The benzoyl peroxide cream is useful if an occasional painful spot starts to appear (get it early) but that stuff is so powerful that it dries the skin and makes it go red, so has to be used sparingly. This Clearasil wash doesn't dry my skin, but everyone's skin is different. I no longer need to use the pads each night since the spots cleared up but if any return I use a pad at night for a couple of nights until they are gone. I'm glad I didn't give up after a week or two, which I was tempted to do. Initially, I found the spots didn't get worse but equally weren't disappearing quickly. But as the weeks went past the spots slowly reduced and the frequency of new ones decreased until they were miraculously all gone. The joy of no longer having so many unsightly and painful spots is wonderful. Give it a try and persevere for at least a couple of months of twice-daily washing until you can reduce to once a day maybe. I usually leave the wash on my skin for 1-2 minutes for it work. Avoid it getting this (and benzoyl peroxide especially) onto coloured fabrics as it can bleach out the colour. Note also that I have found strong cheddar cheese and definitely blue cheese causes spots for me, so I have eliminated them. But even without cheese, I still got spots (just not a severe as when eating cheese) and it was only this Clearasil stuff (wash and pads) that have cleared up the spots. Miraculous stuff.

Great for my teenage son, such a difference to his skin. He uses it morning & night very handy and does a great job.Two stars deducted as I had this item on my subscribe & save but have been notified that this month’s supply can’t be sent to my address (I haven’t moved same address as previous purchases) … very disappointing as they worked out a lot cheaper than buying local.
