Difficult one to review. I am very picky on my coffee. There will be no milk or sugar added to my brew, and I only drink Blue Mountain, having gone through many coffee regions over my lengthy career. My regular supplier of this is from an overseas shop who does not do online delivery to the UK. As a replacement I am buying from the very expensive retail shop Bettys of Harrogate. However, I have been searching for other sources, and as a regular Amazon user, I have been monitoring what’s available. Note that the coffee I buy does not have the word “Blend” in it, it is single (roast/malt) only. So here is my predicament. This coffee does not taste like anything else I have tried. Hence the one star. It may be the original BM and all the other offerings I have tried is not BM. Who knows, I have not been there (to the region) myself. Good luck.

Extremely disappointed. I have had Blue mountain from other suppliers which have far exceeded this. Try fortnum and mason or whittards Blue mountain which actually has flavour. This coffee is flavourless. When you have a light or medium roast, the weakness is expected, and welcomed if the flavour is there. But this isn’t the case with this brand. Very smooth coffee but no more than Illy or Waitrose coffee brands which are 8 times less expensive. Don’t waste your money with this brand.

This is a delicious product, but, honestly, $40+ a pound??? I'm guessing I could get a bag of Acapulco Gold for the price of a bag of Jamaican Blue. I bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day, and he loves it, but if he knew how much it cost he'd freak out.

I bought this coffee for my dad for fathers day. He is 70 yrs old and a die hard folgers drinker.He is very hard to buy for and generally doesn't like ANYTHING new or different from the normal routine. To my surprise, he actually loves this coffee. We are on our second pot this morning. Very smooth flavor, no bitterness at all. I would recommend it. I'm no coffee expert but I can tell when coffee is good and this is great coffee!
