weAQUA Heavy Duty 2-Pack Shower Filter for Hard Water Chlorine Heavy Metals

Wow! What a difference! Our skin and hair are happy now - Even my husband loves it and he has no hair ;) Having recently moved to a part of Florida renowned for heavy metals and more in the ground water- residuals from Phosphate mining. We got a counter top reverse osmosis for drinking, but suffered with hard frizzy hair after every shower. Now after rinsing my conditioner out, my hair still feels soft - like washing with rainwater. As far as installing it was easy to follow instructions and straight forward. Don't be afraid to tighten a little extra if you see a drip between the filter and shower head. This works great!

The shower head we bought works very well and is easy to remove parts for deep cleaning. My wife really enjoys this filter system. We have some very hard water, and we are on a well. This filter type makes the water feel softer and cleaner for sensitive skin types. I wish changing the filters were easier. Having a button or clasp system would be much easier than unscrewing the entire shower housing and anything attached after it.

Easy to install. No leaks. The filter quality is amazing. My hair texture is softer and sleeker and my skin feels and stays more hydrated since using it. 10/10 recommend.

Let's be clear, this will not replace a whole house filtration system. I'm still considering one of those. However, this little gadget is surprisingly effective at reducing the negative effects of showering with hard water, and without sacrificing water pressure. I moved into a house with very hard water about a year ago. My skin and hair were a mess. Special soaps and lotions did not help. It took about a week of using this filter for me to begin noticing a real difference in the way my skin and hair felt, but I am pleasantly surprised. Gives me time to save and shop for a more comprehensive solution to my hard water situation. I would definitely recommend.

We have been using this on our main shower for a few weeks now and it has made a noticeable difference. Installation took about five minutes with no tools and everything needed was included in the box, including spare parts. It fits right between the existing pipe and showerhead without any modifications and water pressure stayed exactly the same. The standout for us has been what it has done for my wife's skin. She noticed softer, less irritated skin after the first week and has been convinced ever since. We have hard, heavily chlorinated municipal water, and the combination of the KDF, activated carbon, and calcium sulfite filtration media is clearly doing its job. Her words are that she can feel the difference immediately in the shower. Hair has also been less frizzy and dry after washing, which she did not expect but has appreciated. What sets this filter apart from a lot of the competition is the straightforward approach to filtration media. The listing is honest about what actually works in a shower filter and why, rather than padding the spec sheet with meaningless terms. Three proven technologies, properly implemented, are doing the work here and the results reflect that. Getting two filters in this pack is good value. One for the main shower and one ready when the first needs replacing at the six-month mark, or to put in a second bathroom. The chrome finish looks clean and does not stand out awkwardly against standard shower hardware. If you have hard water or chlorinated municipal supply and your skin or hair has been suffering for it, this is a straightforward and affordable fix.

This was the easiest thing to install and it makes such a difference. My house has the original 1923 pipes and the city water system that feeds them are even older. God knows what’s lurking in those pipes. The water feels silky coming out of my shower head. I love it!!!

If you don’t have one of these you are missing out. No more chlorine smell and no more unwanted fluoride. I am really upset that I didn’t have this sooner.

I just started using them but so far these are really good filters. I am very happy with my purchase.

I was scared it would make issues with the water pressure but not at all. I actually had more issues before due to hot water not coming through perfectly. Now it’s all clean and hot! Thanks

This literally took me a minute to install. It’s good quality. They give you lots of parts as well as Plumbing tape so you don’t need anything else!

The filter is ok clean water and good for people who had skin problem and lose hair

There are definitely signs that the water quality is improved. The shower and chrome fixtures are keeping cleaner. The smell of chlorine in the water is gone. Soaps and shampoos lather up quickly with less usage. Good product and very easy to install.
