Q: Can I go to folders and find a song? Does the speaker read the folders and song names ?

Yes, there is a possibility to go directly to a folder and find a specific song using the "Menu/OK" button along with the left/right buttons (that actually go up and down instead of L/R in this case). As I noted in my review, this player will show (not "read", if by that you mean vocally) folder and song names - but it does not have MP3 tag support. That means you have to make sure you name the MP3 file properly, as this player will ignore the tag (if one exists). That's a major disappointment for me, as all my files have proper tags. This player could have been so much better with just a bit more effort on the part of the manufacturer.

Q: Advertised as replaceable battery but safety info that comes with speaker says user should not replace by themselves.. How then?

I have no idea why the safety info would say that. The battery was designed to be replaced, which is why it has a battery door that can you remove and then take the battery out. It uses a standard 18650 battery which you can buy here on Amazon, although the one that is included should last for several years.
