Can this be used on hard fingernails?

I bought it for my toe nails but don't see any reason why it would not work to soften fingernails.

is this the liquid bottle?

Yes it is a small 15ml bottle (made in Germany) of liquid emollient which has lasted about 1 year and is very effective for the purpose of straightening of wonky nail.

Does it help thick fungal toenails?

I applied it for at least 6 months and it is still there, but better than it was so I suppose it must have helped, but sooooo slowly.
