A overall good deal under 2k!!
So today I got this Evofox katana x2 keyboard, red switches, First looks are very impressive, those red switches are sweet in sound. Keys are very stable and response are registered very fast n precisely 👏 👌.*UPDATE*minor tradeoffs, win+shift+s doesn't work, it's very handy specially in office work.No pgup n pgdown btn , annoying to use arrows for long scrolls. It's wired and its length is good enough, the weight of this keyboard is on higher side, I mean its actually very heavy. Volume knob works fine. There are different mode to rgb lights(breathing, flow, drops etc) personally I prefer having single color tone, this is a multi color tone rgb but it looks very elegant on that white surface.Overall its a great deal under 2k, I will definitely recommend this one.

Review after 6 months
It's an excellent keyboard for those who have tight budget. I bought this for my sister and it sound more sharp and good and have plenty of more features than my mechanical keyboard even though my keyboard is twice as expensive as this one. It's smaller than my keyboard but worth. Sound can be noisy for you if you're using it in quiet places ( because of blue keys) . Switch to red keys which is I'm using in my keyboard, it's less noisy and smooth. For beginners this one is best and clicky sound could be a boost for fats typing.

Keyboard is really smooth, Qtemu switches can handle heavy sessions also, Overall completly worth it
Hi, This is ghgltggamer who purchases this keyboard few months Ago , And i will only say that i am satisfied , I Will drop Proc & Cons with How To use Keyboard Tutorial for you to make a valid decision.Pros:-- Smooth- Good For Long and heavy Sessions- Solid Build Quality- Red Switches (Smoother Than Blue Switches)- Bonus Switches- Decent Unboxing Experience- High Quality Braded Cable- Very Good Ergonomic Design- Total Of 18 LED Effects- Unique and Compact Design which covers less space on the desk.- Low Power Consumption, Even an Android Phone with an OTG Connector can run this without terrible battery drain.- Really Bright LEDs, The RGB Of the keyboard is really bright which makes this keyboard really shine- Key Presses Are very Consistent (Thanks To the High Quality Key Caps and Qtemu Red Switches)- The Volume Dedicated Button is really very usefull, I Now uses that button for a long time and now it's in my needs from a keyboard- I Was using an HP GK320 which is a full sized keyboard but this is not full-sized , Still i am very comfortable , Jusr [Print] Button is not present but it's still fine- Not very expensive, Even comes at impressive price point with red switches.Cons:- Still Noisy (Red switches are still noisy but not as much as blue)- No, Gold Plated USB (Specially where price goes over 1k INR, But Red Switches justifies this)- Not Full Sized (Some keys are missing as this is not full sized keyboard, Like [ Print ] key which might be important for some users)- Anti Ghosting Is Limited to 26 Keys only , This may be the issue for gamers who fully relies on keyboard for gaming- Rainbow RGB , Means the RGB Colors are fixed and they can't be changed (Only glow effect will change)- Slightly Heavier Keyboard as compared to others.- Lacks The Software Support, Means No Official Customisation- No, Additional Key Cap for Linux. How To Use?[Fn] + [Arr UP] = Increases The Brightness Of RGB (LEDs)[Fn] + [Arr Down] = Decreases The Brightness Of RGB (LEDs)[Fn] + [\|] = Changes the LED mode, Set as your wish within 18 different modes[Fn] + [Arr Left] = Decreases The Speed Of RGB (LEDs)[Fn] + [Arr Right] = Increases The Speed Of RGB (LEDs)[Fn] + [Win] = Locks/Unlocks The Meta Key[Volume Dial] = Spin towards Right (Increase The Volume)[Volume Dial] = Spin towards Left (Decreases The Volume)Which People May Use this:- If you want to do gaming, Or anything with smooth keypress then this is the heaven in budget. I am not saying that this can compete with something over 6K INR or more but the red Switches makes this keyboard very special , As with just little more over cosmic byte , Evo Fox is giving red switches as Katan X2 which is really impressive. I also am a Cosmic byte user as i uses Cosmic Byte Firestrom Gaming Mouse and it's good from 2 years i have replaces previous cosmic byte mouse, And i rebought firestrom because this is a good mouse and for Katana X2 , I will keep buying this keyboard unless it goes out of production. As a normal user or gamer , This keyboard will not dis-appoint you.Who May Look At Other Options:- If you are someone who is a formal employee like in a govt. Compainy or an IT Compainy like Microsoft or anywhere who needs computers , You must be looking at sleek, thin and light membrane keyboards, This keyboard is very tall and beefy , Definitely not thin and light weight.I Hope this review will help! Thanks Regards, ghgltggamer 2025Written at : 09:17 PM , 2/3/25 , India/delhi , On An Arch Linux Machiene.

Worth it at this price range
3.9/5Pros - Great responsiveness.Sounds nice, feedback is great.Looks and feels premium. No RGB bleeding.Cons - RGB brightness is moderate. No per key RGB, only 4-5 RGB presets.Volume knob isn't satisfying and when you press it to mute, sometimes it rotates which either increase or decrease the volume so after unmuting you have to adjust the volume to your preference again

Certain shortcuts do not work
The most important issue with this keyboard is that certain shortcuts (like LCtrl + LShift + P) do not register the final keypress, so it does not work. Same with LCtrl + LShift + Enter. There are other ones as well, but as P/Enter need to be pressed with you pinky finger (same as the RCtrl and RShift keys), those shortcuts become essentially unusable.Another issue (much more minor) is that the keyboard doesn't seem to have a CMOS battery aboard. Every time it gets disconnected, or if the computer restarts, all its LED settings reset to default, which is a bit annoying. That's a shame, because the keyboard is otherwise really good. It feels good to type on, and the build quality is good, especially at this price point. But if you use these shortcuts frequently, it'll drive you mad. I tried getting used to it but I simply couldn't.
