High quality metal, two grip heads, and easy to put up or take down
I've never owned a c-stand before so I have nothing to compare this too, but I absolutely love it. I record a lot of product reviews and I record both front-facing and top-down videos and this c-stand has made it so easy to move the camera around in both ways and at whatever height I need. I can also easily move the bar horizontally and clamp a backdrop to it for product photography. It's a product I never though I needed but now I keep it up at all times in my office because of how useful it is.All parts of the stand feel durable and heavy duty. It's a bit heavy, but I think that's what you want in something like this. It's made of stainless steel, so you also shouldn't have to worry about rust too much. The legs snap into place and feel strong. At first, I wasn't sure how to get the legs in place because of how strong they hold. I was afraid of breaking it. But once I realized that you just need to use a good amount of force, I got them open. Now that I know, I like it.The stand has an adjustable height and it pops up a bit with a spring. That's more for protecting the stand if you let the bar drop. The bar can go very high though. I'm using this in my house, so I don't even come close to how high it goes. The extension arm has 1/4" and 3/8" threads, so it'll fit whatever camera gear you have. I installed a cameral ball head so that I can use my camera on it.The grip heads feel great in my use. They lock tight and open up easily. It feels nice and smooth when adjusting the heads to whatever position I need them in.You also get a carrying bag, an extra grip head, some sand bags, and some clamps.I've used an LED light at the top with a softbox with no problems. Everything works great and the quality of all parts is excellent. I'm very happy with it.

Very nice C-Stand
I would say the quality of this stand is right up there with the other 'Pro' brand stands I already own. Overall it seems well made and is of solid, sturdy construction. It has some very nice features including spring loaded vertical sections, a very surprising 10' height, threaded ends on the arm and a completely free arm shaft whereas all the other grip arms I've used had a permanently attached grip head on one end. This is actually a nice feature because it allows you to center the arm in a 'T' pattern and attach items on each end. One more nice bonus is the second included grip head. Very helpful to have. There is also a neoprene / foam sleeve on the stand which aids in carrying and getting a good purchase on an otherwise slippery stand. While in my initial usage of this stand is positive, I have no way of knowing how rugged the castings are and whether they will hold up to much abuse over time. There is no mention of any warranty on the listing that I could find. The rest of the kit is a bit confusing. My particular kit came with an extra sandbag and 6 additional plastic spring clamps which are not shown in the listing. A nice bonus for sure. I do wish they had included a photo of how the case is supposed to be loaded. It seems that the case is in fact a double c stand case- I had to go to individual the Ambitful case listing to see how it is designed to be packed. The case works, and is fairly easy to carry. While I fully expect the c stand to last me decades, I really dont expect to get much serviceable life out of the case, it just doesnt seem to be heavy duty enough or well made enough to survive too many trips on location. They sell the case separately for half the price of the C stand kit, so overall this is a fantastic value add.Having shared my thoughts, I think this is an excellent value, and while some of the soft goods may not last a lifetime, the C stand is bound to, and it is one of the best values I've found in the business for this type of stand.

Ambitful vs Mathews
I own several Mathews C-stands, some of them quite old. I'd say that my newest one was picked up in around 2013 so this is by no means a head to head of Mathews current offering. I have to say, I do prefer the way my Mathews stand works compared to this stand. With a quick flick of the wrist you can get the three feet to flip out and into place with no problem, whereas with the Ambitful you have to force them into place. The Ambitful is also larger even though it extends to the same height. That said, the Ambitful has a nice grip, longer boom arm, comes with a carrying case, two sandbags, and some clamps making it so that the overall value far outdoes the Mathews.Definitely a great option for your studio needs.

Built like a tank, excellent quality!
I do a lot of cinematography and photography in our studio. I have another C-Stand just like this one made by different company but the metal components are cheaper and not as good as quality as this stand is. As you can see from the photos, all of the components are made a very high quality heavy duty metal. Everything about this stand just feels solid and sturdy. It's quick and easy to set up and all of the joints work smoothly. It comes with a very nice quality carrying bag as well that is well padded. We've been using this stand for audio boom mics and lighting as well. I'm super happy with this C-Stand!!!
