This little dish is absolutely adorable!! I was looking for a cute little butter dish that is actually a croc with lid in case the butter gets a little melty (Phoenix problems). This is perfect! I’m so happy with it!! It easily fits a stick of East Coast butter if you cut it in half and place the halves side-by-side.

These are beautiful ceramic Le Creuset crockettes with lids. 14oz, which for me is a good size. They washed in the dishwasher perfectly. They look like a million bucks. Love them - even though the price is a bit painful. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is a really great item for certain things. The main thing I needed it for was small batches of garlic confit. It’s really sturdy and well made, looks beautiful, and will last forever if taken care of. Like other le creuset items, it has a ten year warranty. It can also be used as a nice looking gravy/sauce bowl when serving meals, or a sugar bowl, etc. Just keep in mind that it’s tiny and only able to be used for small things like that, don’t let photos fool you into thinking you’ve found a deal on a Dutch oven lol

Check the size!!! It’s very small - good for garlic roasting or other small ingredient things in the oven. It’s very cute but not what I wanted, but that’s on me for not reading the size!

I bought the Soleil and the green and switched tops to leave these cocottes on. my counter. Typical Le Creuset quality. A wonderful start for your morning with spinach, cream, eggs, cheese and a dab (or two) of butter baked to perfection. As with all cast iron products, be sure to use an oven glove when handling them when they're hot. Lovely colors, bright and cheery. Highly recommend this brand, as always
