A really good item. Very good value, was perfect.

I buy this every year for my father-in-law's birthday as it's the only whisky he drinks. He has a little every night and always offers us some when we go round. I've never liked whisky and I'm not much of a drinker but this whisky would convert anyone! This whisky is so smooth, it tastes peaty and not acidic at all. There's a nice mild finish too. The box is gorgeous so it makes for a really nice gift. The price of this bottle was brilliant at £31 so it seems like a much more expensive and lavish gift. I would definitely recommend!

This is a good malt worth the money .

My favourite whiskey. Talisker 10 Year is one of those whiskies that leaves a lasting impression. The first thing that hits you is the signature smoky peat, but it’s quickly followed by a smooth wave of sweetness, spice, and a touch of sea salt. There’s a rugged coastal character to it that makes it feel both powerful and refined. Perfect for sipping slowly and appreciating the depth of flavour. It’s not a beginner’s whisky—but if you like a bit of punch and complexity in your dram, this is a standout. Always one I come back to.

I really enjoy Talisker whisky with this the 10 year old being my favourite. Here's my take on it. Pungent and briny with sea spray, smouldering campfire ash, and earthy peat • Sweet undertones of rosewater, honeysuckle, and orchard fruits like pear and apple • Hints of salted kippers, seaweed, and citrus rind add a coastal freshness. A bonfire of peat crackling with black pepper, brine, and dry barley • Tastes of sweet malt, vanilla, and light fruits like banana and pineapple • A touch of lemony spice, coconut, and medicinal wood bark for added depth. Finish • Long and smoky, with lingering charcoal, pepper, and spicy citrus • Ends dry, with embers of malt sweetness and a hint of oak. All in all a fine dram.

An excellent whisky that arrived rapidly and safely

Talksker 10. There is no better malt on the planet. Just the right balance of peat, without going full-blown burning wood flavour like Ardbeg. Also, not as much of an acquired taste as Laphraoig. It’s like in the Goldilocks story - juuust right! I drink it neat in a Glencairn dram glass with my cat on my lap and my tweed hat on my head. Reminds me of holidays up in Sutherland and Caithness. Takes me right back to Aardvreck Castle on Loch Assynt. Of course, the distillery itself is on Skye. But the best thing about this malt is it makes your imagination run wild. I got a great deal on Black Friday. So I picked up 3 bottles in one shot. I can never have enough Talisker 10. Don’t ever buy any malt without an age statement. Eg 10 or 12 year old. Particularly, those overpriced special edition bottles typically found at duty free. Like Talisker Dark Storm, for example. There is no age on it because by law they have to put the age of the youngest malt in the blend. And it won’t sell if they write 3 year old! Hence, I keep coming back to this Talisker 10. I’ve been enjoying it steadfastly without hiccup for about 5 years now since I first discovered it. The bottle is also beautiful. The packaging is lovely blue. And it makes an excellent gift. My dad loves it too. And when it’s popped open, the whole room smells wonderful. Peaty malty windswept sea aromas. Mixed with wooden barrels and musky basements with cosy log fires. Enjoy your wee dram, folks. Cheers.

On Black Friday I bought this on special. Have tasted this in the past. Lite peaty and smooth drop when mixed with a dash of water or cube of ice. Waiting for next special to buy few more. :):)

" Voilà c'est fini ", le Talisker 10 ans c'est terminé: victime de son succès il est remplacé par des NAS ( no age statement ) comme le Skye, le Storm ou le Port Ruighe ( lire Portree, la capitale de l'île de Skye ). Pénurie de vieux malts, mondialisation de la clientèle, on retrouve le même problème chez Macallan, Glenmorangie et même chez les japonais. Un comble: alors que la France est encore la première consommatrice mondiale de single malt, c'est en Angleterre que j'ai dû acheter une des dernières bouteille de ce fameux whisky dont le prix atteint déjà des prix délirants chez certains assoiffeurs ( Talisker 10 Year Old Malt 70cl ). Tourbé, avec un fumé moins envahissant qu'un Islay, le Talisker 10 ans est une explosion d'épices, de poivre sur une trame de fruit et de miel. Très puissant, onctueux, d'une longueur en bouche incroyable, il est le compagnon idéal du saumon fumé. Un must à déguster sur l'Ile de Skye lors d'un coucher de soleil sur les Cuillin Mountains. Les nostalgiques pourront toujours se consoler avec le 18 ans ou le 25 ans ( 99€ et 235€ quand même ! )

Mi dichiaro ormai convinto fan della distilleria Talisker da qualche anno, e forse il Talisker 10 va dritto verso la vetta del mio personalissimo podio del "Single Malt Scotch Whisky" contest... Anche qui profumo intenso di torba e di fumo, di legno, sale e mare, e non potrebbe essere altrimenti. In questo caso peró i 10 anni passati nelle botti di rovere americano si fanno sentire, e il che è un pregio evidente, perché il risultato è un equilibrio delicato, quasi perfetto. Al palato si scorge anche un leggero sentore di spezie, in lontananza ma percettibile. Ma dove si sfiora la Poesia è in quello che ti lascia, il segno che rimane nei recettori appena finito il bicchiere. Serenità leggera, ma avvolgente, che ti porta per un attimo sull'isola di Skye battuta da un vento teso e freddo, ma non tempestoso stavolta. Meno ruggente e spigoloso del Talisker Storm, che comunque rimane il primo amore. Ancora grazie comunque... forse anche per via del Tempo che passa, quando si è in compagnia di un amico vero e del Talisker 10, il mondo sembra un posto migliore. Qualità/prezzo senza paragoni, per un competitor credibile si deve cambiare fascia e spendere di piú, molto di piú. Al limite dei sensi di colpa. Ad oggi il Talisker migliore, 57° North e Talisker 25 a parte, of course... P.S. menzione d'onore anche per la spedizione Amazon, perfetta nei tempi e nell'imballaggio. Per averlo sempre vicino ho realizzato anche la versione "Lampada da comodino".

Ein wirklich ausdrucksstarker Whisky mit viel Charakter. Er wirkt kräftig, markant und bleibt dabei sehr interessant im Geschmack. Genau das macht ihn für mich zu etwas Besonderem. Wer Whiskys mit Persönlichkeit mag, bekommt hier einen sehr intensiven und eindrucksvollen Genuss. Insgesamt ein Whisky, der in Erinnerung bleibt und einen hochwertigen Eindruck macht.
