Great tool for individuals and organizations
I appreciated the structure, aesthetic, and format of this guide. It was easy to access and not overwhelming to absorb. I am an individual who has been working in social change work on and off for the last 20 years and I currently run a nonprofit organization focused on community violence intervention. On my first go around I absorbed a lot of helpful information and insight into myself and noted the lens it offers for organizations. My plan is to read it a second time and use it in a training/retreat with my team. The guide offers lots of prompts and open-ended direction for those planning to use it either as individuals or as team/orgs. Thank you Deepa Iyer for creating this resource!

Helpful for Combatting Burnout + Answering "What is mine to do?"
Deepa Iyer provides a helpful framework for social change beginners and veterans alike. I appreciated reading about each role in the "ecosystem framework" and was surprised by what resonated and what didn't. It was helpful to be reminded that I don't need/should not be all things to all people and both I and the movement will be happier and healthier if I can play the role(s) that are most natural and energizing to me. I also appreciated the calling out of strengths and room to grow for each role. This is an incredible gift and resource for individuals and organizations seeking to make sustainable and lasting change in our world. Thank you!

Brilliant Tool
We're using this tool for our entire team. Our Plan is to work on this as individuals, do our personal reflections...be gentle with ourselves for trying to do it ALL (me) and then reconvene at a quarterly retreat and go through it as a collective- for healing and planning. Excellent tool for team building, managing group dynamics and developing our people skills!
