Eddie Bauer Women's Departure Ankle Pants

These have a very flattering fit and nice breathable fabric. There is no drawstring (which I love!) They do fit a little more relaxed than I expected for if you are trying to determine what size to choose I would choose to size down. Still extremely classy looking and comfortable!

These pants are like wearing pjs to work! The fit is great, not baggy or too tight. The fabric is nice, not too heavy and not too thin. I’m 5’3” and the length is good, not cropped look as in the picture, about 1 1/2” longer, but that is okay for me, if I’d hem them I would loose the slit at the bottom and that would be bad either or effect how the pant hang or fit at the ankle.

The media could not be loaded. I already have two pairs of these, one blue one black. I wanted a green one and tried this one but it does not fit right. It is too big. There isn't a size large.These pants are lightweight so they are good to prevent you from feeling too hot in balmy weather. They are good for general use. They can roll up, or fold up very compactly so you can put them in a backpack, or suitcase for traveling. They do not look like they are strictly for the gym or hiking the trails or jogging or exercising. Of course it can depend.The size that fits me best is size large. It fits a bit more like pants than tights. That is the way I prefer it. It does seem these pants are initially meant to be a bit tight (judging from some of the photos of models wearing the pants on the Amazon site) but if you buy a size or maybe two sizes larger they can be just like pants.The zip back pocket is great to prevent items that you put in the pocket from falling out.The waist has no drawstring. I dislike drawstrings but also sometimes pants that are "comfort waist" may not have enough elastic tension to make the pants stay on my waist. This one has just the right amount of tension for me (if it is the right size) and the comfort waist does not constrict . This is important for me because even though I have been athletic much of my life I still have an inherited slight paunch that makes it uncomfortable for me to wear a lot of comfort-waist pants . I know a lot of people out there deal with the same.One slight con I would say is that, though the fit is normal from the knee down (regarding myself) if I tried to roll the pants up slightly past my knee it would tighten up too much. In other words the circumference of the pant opening at the ankle could be a bit wider as far as I am concerned: Though these pants are comfortable and you could sleep in them (which is a convenient aspect of a pair of pants if you are traveling so you need not bring pajamas) if you move too much while wearing them you can feel the hem going up our legs and it would be better if the legs from the knee down were just a teensy bit looser, but again these pants are not meant for that.But I mostly like these pants though they are not exactly perfect for me. They are good to just have around should you need to grab them and put them on with a shirt and get going outside to get things done without much ado. Of course it can depend on your own needs. But I would recommend them. I just wish that there were a regular size large in color green.I have to send these back as they are way too large.

So good that I got a second pair. Lightweight, comfortable, perfect for long hikes and walks or just lounging around. I also was happy that on long hikes, I didn’t get any inner thigh chafing.

The pros are the fabric is so lightweight and silky! Also the pants appear well made. However, the waistband was not stretchy so the waist was too small (size Large). I had hoped that since these were made to hit at the ankle that they would be short enough for me. I am 5’1” and they were about 4-6 inches too long. I wanted to keep these because of the lightweight fabric, but the cons were too strong for me.

Really liked the fit and feel of this pants. I bought a 2X for my 5' 8" 230 lb. frame. The length hit right at my low ankle, the material is thin with some stretch to hold there shape. These pants would be great gor hit weather, but could not justify the $58 price to keep them.

I own a pair of these in size medium and they fit perfectly. Bought a second pair, same size and color. The second pair is much larger than the first pair. The waist band is at least 2 - 3 inches larger. Returning.

These pants are everything I wanted- lightweight, comfortable, pockets, pet hair doesn’t stick to them, can look casual or dressy! I own three pairs in medium that fit perfectly, so I ordered a pair of the tall length in medium because I wanted a longer pair. The waist on those was two inches larger than the medium waist on the regular length, and the talls don’t come in a small.

Very pleased with these pants! Very comfortable!

El pantalón es super cómodo, es flexible, pesa super poquito lo que lo hace una gran opción para viajar, ya que no quita espacio en la maleta y es tan ligero que puedes llevar varios hasta en la maleta de mano.La bolsa trasera tiene muy bien tamaño, cabe un iphone 13 max pro y sobra espacio!

The pants are made with a windbreaker, nylon-like material rather than a jersey fabric which is what I had expected by the product description.Eddie Bauer never responded to my return request so I had to involve Amazon for resolution.
