Valerian Root Roar - Catnip & Valerian Root Mix

It was truly amazing the very second I ripped the top open on the bag of Catnip, my 3 little fur babies were al over me. I couldn't open it fast enough to suit them, and they kept trying to grab it out of my hands. I was mobbed! Usually with catnip they eat a little blow it all over the floor, and roll around it it for awhile, leaving me a mess. With this, I put it on disposable cake plates to separate them, and each of them licked the plate clean, not a speck left. I was forced ( by cat threat) to pour out more. They cleaned that up too, but seeing them starting to act kind of silly, rubbing up against anything with an edge, making biscuits, biting-while loudly purring up a storm, and batting at each other's ears, I figured they have had enough. Of course they wanted more, but I held true to my convictions as a Cat Mom, and held firm, knowing they were already soaring in the clouds. My little Blue-eyed dope fiends had to be cut off! Yes, My sweet trio of kitties are higher than a kite, but they sure have smiles on their whiskered faces. This "'Cat Crack" is extremely addictive to cats, ( my Hedgie loves it too) it's a good thing they don't own posable thumbs, or they would be out in the allies dealing it to all the shady neighborhood felines too! I have had to secure this "Cat Happy Substance" up in a high cupboard out of their reach, or my little fur-balls would need Cat Rehab! Make sure when you buy it for your own cats, you have a place ready to lock it up, maybe even keep it under lock & key! (Because Cats can't "Just say No!") My cat went face first into the container, mouth wide open. So I think she likes it a little bit. Nice size container, should last her a while.

I am trying to judge this brand of catnip fairly but have had a bad experience with one of their other products and it left a bad taste in my mouth (and the cat's mouths). Only one of my cats would even consider trying the catnip and the other was instantly in a grumpy mood after smelling it and no longer wanted to play. It is unusual behavior for him, and I just don't know how to feel about it.

I originally got some of this catnip along with a toy I purchased (jellyfish), but I'm thrilled to have more. I was surprised at how large the bag was considering its only 2 oz of cat nip. It's a rather large bag and it's stuffed full. According to the package it's about 113 servings, which seems right considering how little catnip you need to put in a toy. It's an incredible value and a good variety of catnip. I've had different types, from one's that did practically nothing to ones that made my cat comatose for hours. This one makes him rub all over and chase his toys, but doesn't goon him out. Will purchase again!

I have 2 different cats and they both don't seem to like it. They sniff it for 1 second but then run away and want nothing to do with it. I know it doesn't effect all cats but find it odd that they both don't care for it.
