This is a terrific heatsink/fan combination that is well made and highly affordable. A y-splitter cable is provided to combine the 2x 4 pin PWM connectors into a single 4pin PWN mobo header. The fan even comes with a large tube of Thermalright TF7 paste which is quality paste. This product was purchased for a stock 12700kf, no undervolt or overclock, just stock with intel pref settings (none of that MCE stuff) inside of a H9 Flow case (2025) and there's no issue with noise or sound; keeps the CPU in the low to mid 60's with small bursts to 71c at 70% power in Cyberpunk 2077 with all Raytracing settings maxxed. One thing worth mentioning, if you have large RAM heatsinks, you will need to get creative. If you have low profile ram, you should be fine. Overall, this is a great product with easy installation and quality performance that would rival AIO's.

I run an i7-4790k, which is notorious for running hot. To test it, I ran a benchmark before and after installing the Thermalright cooler. Before installation, the temps were around 98°c, but after the temps never broke 65°c. I was slightly skeptical when ordering due to the low price and unfamiliar brand, but the performance is truly incredible, and I cannot recommend it enough. It came with fitting brackets for a number of different sockets, including my LGA 1150, and even had TF7 thermal paste, which was a more than welcome surprise. Installation was genuinely easier than the OEM Intel heat sink, though you will need access to the back of your motherboard, so if you don't have an detachable back panel, be prepared to pull out the whole board. It fit perfectly in my case which I assume is around average size, leaving about 2cm or so clearance from the side panel once put back on. If you have a thinner form factor case, I'd check to make sure it'll fit, but it should fit the vast majority of full size cases. I paired it with a three pack of Thermalright case fans, and they've definitely made a lifelong customer out of me. Installation was a breeze, airflow is streamlined and great, each fan had connectors for daisey chaining if you're low on motherboard connection ports, and it runs like a charm. TLDR: Well worth the money. Dropped over 30°c off of my full throttle CPU performance temps, and is a fraction of the price of comparable competition

My ryzen 7 7800x3d stays cool at around 75C during a stress test with minor overclock, so absolutely no problem with cooling performance with the fan settings my motherboard gave me. The fans are also nearly silent at idle and just a light drone with load at around 1000rpm, not annoying at all. I don't prefer the metal fan clips for attaching them to the heatsink but it's not a problem at this price, and you can adjust the fan if your ram sticks are too large. In the box you also get a y splitter in case your motherboard only has 1 cpu fan connector (which only reads rpm from one fan) and some thermalright thermal paste (which the Amazon ai thing lied about). I think this is an evolution of their Peerless Assassin cooler which was also highly rated, but this one works great for me

I bought this for my new computer build. It comes with thermal paste. It is well designed and pleasing in appearance. It is fairly large with massive heat sink dissipation. It has good airflow, and is reliable. I am happy with the purchase. It was a good value for the price on Amazon .

This is a top-quality cooler and absolute sweet spot for price-to-performance when it comes to air coolers. It doesn't make too much noise even when my CPU is under heavy loads, and I've had a great overall experience with it. My only heads-up for anyone looking to buy this is that it WILL block your RAM slots. Because of this, you’ll have to adjust the front fan, either by mounting it a bit higher up on the tower to clear your RAM sticks, or finding the right positioning that works for your setup. I bought this because I don't care much about the aesthetics, but if you don't want your RAM covered or the fan sitting a bit higher, I’d recommend looking for a more compact cooler. Overall, an amazing purchase!

This is one of the best performing low to mid-range priced air coolers you can get, so it performs extremely well. I am cooling an AMD Ryzen 16 core 5900XT at 210 PPT. 4 stars only due to usability. It is tight in my MATX case, so I cannot access anything in there with the cooler mounted. I have to remove it to do basically anything, even get to the fan headers of the cooler, that's ok, but I find the install process while easy, is not actually simple. Often have a difficult time catching the 2nd bolt screw into place on the socket, and I never have any idea if the cooler is aligned with the bolts when I start tightening. If you cannot see well, or feel well in a tight area it is essentially a guess if properly mounted while you try to tighten. It's a big cooler, check the measurements and your case.
