Makes for great gift
Bought these as a gift for my niece who just got a microscope for her birthday from her father. There is a high variety of slides with many different specimens to look at, so kids won't get bored with it right away. I peeked at a few and they were interesting to look at. The kit comes in a box that organized the slides conveniently and is highly re-usable. The slides are made of real glass. This could be a positive or negative compared to plastic slides which may be safer for little kids to handle and are less delicate. Overall worth the money as a gift.

It's color coded!
Daughter loves science and she loved these. I do too, because color coding so you can put them back where they belong just makes sense. Even if you kid is more of an older teen, heck, even if your a full grown adult, color coding man.... It's a good thing! These are great slides too. But in a sea of sets... Trust me... This is the one you want. Because it's color coded!

Love the slides. I added a few elastic bands to the case to prevent the inevitable dropped case scenario. Kids loved the selection. Would by again.
