this is the best shaker i ever buy, no leak-off, very solid and nice quality. It is far better than cobbler shaker.

this unit will last. not a thin toy but a good heavy metal tool. good size for most single or double cocktails.

Love the slightly beveled lip so that the two pieces are easy to fit together and to get apart. Nice weight and balance to it so that has a great feel when shaking. Well made so it feels like this product will also have a long life!

This is really nice. It feels sturdy and the base has nice weight to it. I'm replacing a thinner flimsy Boston Shaker Set that I could squeeze and easily move the metal like a solo cup. This is a whole different experience. I'm really pleased with the quality. Seal feels good. No issues with shaking ice, and wide enough to break down limes at the bottom. Feels like this will last a long time. Time will tell of course, hopefully no issues with rust down the road. But I'd recommend and also give it as gift.

[UPDATE] JUNE 2022Rust specs have not been an issue with the replacements, and even the original (which they let me keep) no longer seems to have any spots showing up after multiple uses and washes. I was never terribly worried about the rust, but the company was excellent, and super supportive. I will definitely sing their praises as these have been great shakers and my go to many cocktails. Have completely come to appreciate the solid and thick walled construction, and don't notice the extra weight other than how it adds stability.The tight seal is a good thing, IMO, and releasing got easier with use and technique refinement.Updating to five stars, and would highly recommend to anybody.[/UPDATE]---Used for one or two cocktails a day for only two weeks, and surprised to see a few specs near the rim of the large tin that are starting to rust. It's not even at a place where the seal happens, or anything else might cause it. Have reached out to Pina, and they were super responsive in helping me resolve the issue.Will update review shortly.Otherwise, it's great. No leaks and heavy (almost to a fault) – it definitely seems like (other than the rust) it's built to last. Base is solidly attached, and not just tack-welded on, it seems.Can seal overly tightly, so a bit longer to get used to compared to thinner, more flexible walled tins. The trick is to not tap it too hard so the small tin pops to the opposite side. Tap it just enough so the tins center, and then wait a second for the pressure to release.Would have been a solid 5 stars if not for the (minor) rust issue.
