Badger - SPF 30 Kids Sunscreen Cream with Zinc Oxide for Face and Body, Broad Spectrum & Water Resistant Reef Safe, Natural Mineral Sunscreen with Organic Ingredients, 2.9 fl oz

I have used Badger Sunscreen twice on two separate holidays now. Once in Cyprus where temps were regularly 38-40 and this year in Tunisia which was mainly between 34-38. I bought this due to reviews for protecting new (and old) tattoos in the sun. This cream (when applied correctly) does exactly what it should. I applied factor 30 Badger on my old and new tattoos and on my little girl (5) and none of the area it was applied burnt at all. When I compared the areas I had used a chemical factor 50 the difference was incredible and in the area without Badger applied I did get burnt. The problem was that it is quite thick and does "block" the sun so you don't get any change of colour in those areas where applied. Which was absolutely fine by me as my daughter was not on holiday for a tan and burning/tanning my tattoos was not what I was looking for on my holiday. I wish I had taken photographs of the places where Badger was applied compared to SPF 50 Nivea to show the ability of Badger to effectively screen my wife's tattoo. Amazing stuff, smells lovely and does what it should. I will continue to use this on my shoulders and face in temps above 30.

Great sunscreen and I’m very glad to have found all 100% natural and mostly organic without any nonsense stuff inside. I just couldn’t believe how hard it is to get a decent sunscreen in a regular shop or pharmacy so I had to order online and I was hoping this one will come in time for our camping trip on one of the hottest weeks in the year. And it did, came right on time and worked wonders. We camped 4 days in a blazing sun with no shadows to hide under and neither of us got burned what’s so ever. Just one downside, that it’s quite thick and leaves you ghoasty white, but not for long and that’s a small price to pay for a healthy sunscreen cream that kept our whole family protected on the worst sun of the day. Also, the water resistance was great too. We were in and out of water all the time and it stayed well on and made me ever happier knowing it’s not harming any of the sea life.

Actually pleasantly surprised. If you want to help the environment and coral reefs this is perfect guilt free solution. Consistency is a little tacky to touch, and thick, however it does rub in, you just need to preserve. This was the sports version and worked well especially as i spent most of my time in the water. I would say I put this on more frequently than I would if I used normal sunscreen but I just didn't want to get burnt and wasn't sure how it would protect.

I absolutely love this suncream. Hardly any ingredients and what ingredients there are are safe on the skin, which is exactly what I want for my children.This hasn't got all the chemicals that prevents that white look, but that can be avoided.If you put on a little bit on at a time you can blend into the skin, and minimise the whiteness.I used to pile on the cream and my children would look like Casper! Ive since learnt a little at a time drastically reduces that.I also use this around my eyes, preventing crows feets. A take a tiny little bit on my ring finger and pat it around the eye.This isn't a once a day cream, be very careful about those who claim they are. As there isn't any scientific proof to back these claims.Great price and more importantly great ingredients. This is way we go back to Badger every year.

Absolutely fantastic!We normally use organic green people spf 30 on our little eczema 7 yo. However, there seems to be an issue with it ok amazon and unable buy. So researched and found this one. Used it for the first time on very hot 26’ day at the zoo in Essex and oh my! What a fabulous suncream! A little goes a long way. The smells is amazing! No reaction, no little bumps formed on the skin, no itchy red patches, no burn!! It is a smaller tube for the price but so worth it. It is quite thick, but rubs in well and quick and leaves the skin so silky smooth too :)

Only used once on my three year old and very impressed. I agonised over this choice for a long time...The cream is thick and does leave a white residue and I can see this being an issue if you are darker skinned. Fortunately, me and my son are milky white. The coverage is thick and there is some residue but not greasy and comfortable.The smell is lovely, like Terry's Chocolate Orange. My son said 'Yum!'A little goes a looooonnnnngggg way.

Safe to use for eczema-prone skin (I have been using it for 3 years and haven't had any issues), nice smell and good sun protection. Suitable for surfing and swimming, as well (though you should reapply every hour!). Since it's zinc-based, it leaves a white film on your skin. But it's not too obvious if applied thinly.

It's a good sunblock in terms of natural ingredients, but it remains very greasy on the skin, you can forgetting about feeling fresh or wearing jewellery, as it will be tarnished by the sunblock. Smells very nice. The price on amazon is too high, I got it for £8 on iherb
