Navigation Enigma Secret Puzzle Box Money & Gift Card Holder IQ Escape Box

This puzzle box was just as I expected, after reading the reviews about the craftsmanship, and the pieces being a little difficult to maneuver—they are. The wood and finish are very nice, but the “Enjoy the Journey” written on the side, cheapens it. Were it not for that, it would look like a handcrafted piece that you might find at a craft fair. I bought this for a friend, and I didn’t want to present it in the garish outer box it arrived in. I decided to turn the outer box inside out, by detaching the inner flap. This created an unmarked cardboard mystery box. I didn’t seal it, just tied it with a ribbon. One pull, and the outer box flopped open to reveal the puzzle box inside.The printed instructions are included, and easy to understand. There’s also a QR code to request the online instructions link via email—an annoying ploy to get your personal info. I wanted to give my friend more of a challenge, so I requested the link. Then I made a QR code of the webpage for direct access. I printed my code, and rolled it up like a treasure map to tie onto the box. (I tossed the printed instructions that were included.) Bottom line: This presentation made the puzzle box much more appealing—my friend loved it. But after the extra effort on my part, he was able to open it without the instructions! 🙄🤷🏾‍♀️😆 However, he enjoyed the challenge AND the Escape Room gift card I had hidden inside.

We loved it! I slipped a Delta airline card into and put our flight confirmation code onto it. As we unwrapped for Christmas, my son spent 20 minutes trying to open the box, then he had to figure out there was a message in blacked out letteres on the outside packaging, then he had to figure out that there was a confirmation code on the Delta airplane card. All in all, it took about 45 minutes for this to unravel. It was one of my better gift ideas! Once opened, we passed it to a family member for his birthday, and it is still making the rounds.

The puzzle was cool but the keys were definitely sticky! Had to get them at the right angle to move & maneuver. But loved that the puzzle was more complicated than just "move this one piece". Even with the instructions it still takes a bit to complete, and is genuinely challenging imo if starting w/o instructions.

I gave this to an adult and they had fun. I think this particular box would be too hard for a kid, but a puzzling challenge for a teen who doesn’t get too frustrated. It comes with a step by step guide that’s easy to follow so you can put stuff inside (or there’s a slot you can put things through). It looks beautiful and is a fun keepsake/memory.While wrapping it I noticed if you shake it, the key puzzle will move along a few steps towards the goal, so wrap carefully or be okay with them not starting exactly at start

waiting on a replacement. It is a good size I am waiting on a replacement at the moment. The puzzle is stuck where it won't wiggle or open.

Was fun to give my Nephew. He was annoyed but had fun with solving the puzzle for the prize inside.
