As advertised, it reduces sound but doesn’t eliminate it completely. Made a huge difference in my basement keeping furnace noises to a minimum. Grommets along two sides so it can be hung portrait or landscape.

I just feel like this product is overpriced. I could’ve brought a move-in blanket for half the price.🤨 it’s a decent weight not to wait they’re claiming or promoting of this product but overall my issue is the price thank you

Not so much sound proof. More like a tarp

PRO: Metal grommets & fabric hanging straps are strong and well-anchored. All edges of the blanket are double-stitched with re-enforced corners. As described, this blanket hardly has any odor; the little bit of smell is pleasant.CON: Product description incorrectly states that these blankets have “high elasticity” hanging straps. Straps are high strength but in no way are elastic. Magnets on the buttons/pins could be stronger.Had ordered these padded blankets to use for moving, but they’re too nice for that. They would be great for musicians.

This sound control blanket is the best I've found to date for portable management of unwanted acoustic reflections, especially on location where permanent sound control is not an option.The blanket itself is well made and heavy. The outer fabric feels like nylon and doesn't snag on furniture corners. The stitching is good and the grommets are solid. The padding feels substantial, and I can expect it to work well protecting equipment if/when I move again.The best use I've found for it on location is hung between two light stands in front of a hot reflection, like a glass door or stone wall, or along a standing wave's path. It really helps reduce unwanted reverb, and all but eliminates those standing wave issues.I really like this blanket and have added it to my location recording kit.
