Strong, penetrating scent.
I use this in a diffuser to help clear my sinuses and ease my breathing. I'd tried another brand because it came in a 4 oz bottle for less $$, but it was weak and didn't work well for my purposes. One of the kids had a cold sore coming on and I diluted a drop of it in fractionated coconut oil and applied it to the emerging sore. Gone in 2 days without actually erupting, so it's a good antiviral if used properly. Do not put it on skin, scalpetc. without proper dilution first!

Really good oil
I love this camphor oil. I put 10 drops into my hair oil, which is just grape seed and castor oils. lol but it works so well for me. The smell isn’t that bad. Better than tea tree in my opinion.

May Kill Cancer
I was just turned onto Camphor oil from a company in Canada which uses camphor oil as the main ingredient to kill cancer cells. It helps with pain when you rub it on a sore pain, smells funky but everything I read about it. It seems to be a miracle oil. Looking forward to trying it on other things but do not ingest it or use it on open sores.

Key Ingredient in this reviewer's Homemade Scalp Tonic. Read below for details.
Here's what you do: Grab a copy of the Merck "Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy" from the Web. Then just LOOK for ANY modern pharmaceutical product out of ALL the expensive drugs cataloged by that Industry Giant and ask yourself: WHERE are the DRUGS that KILL the INSECT EGGS?Then think back and see if you, too, remember Camphor's use from Old Times as a means of keeping moth-holes from being chewed into the Winter Woolen Goods by the larvae hatched from the eggs out of Momma Moth on the prior summer's life-cycle. (Your mother should know, if you are too young to remember for yourself, Beloved. If SHE does not, then HERS surely will!)Fact: Human scalps occasionally are actually invaded and infected by the eggs and larvae etc of tiny beetles, minuscule gnats or the long-infamous Gall Midge. Once chronically and heavily infected, the glaze and buildup can and does increase the ole Hat Size many notches. Meanwhile, the ever-hungry embedded brood's increasing numbers reliably do softly, stealthily ramp-up one's overall cranial pain level right past the point that our increasing irritability and "touchiness" may indeed cause others to recommend psychiatric attention - with disastrous consequences. SSRIs, major tranquilizers and the like simply do NOT address the actual CAUSE of such a problem - they only block one's CARING that the symptoms are there to begin with. (Is THAT what YOU want, Beloved?)Meanwhile, things reliably get ever-so-profitably worse - and down you go. Now PAY. (See you in two weeks, don't be late!)Fact: Our scalps are warm, slightly moist, very nutritious to micro-organisms and just a bit crease-y. They make for a perfect incubator for Momma Bug's new-hatched larval brood (for these species' larvae are indeed the tiniest of carnivores, yes they are) when she finds us in a vulnerable way. SHE does NOT need to care that the US CDC and Kaiser Permanente Foundation Incorporated both do just swear that the entire notion of "Insect Infection" is "delusional". But someone who still knows how to use a microscope has now reduced their own Hat Size dramatically - and become MUCH more pleasant to associate with over a mere month's time - following their assembling a homemade Biocidal Scalp Therapy Tonic from an ounce of Neem, Sesame and Camphor oils dissolved into in half an 8-ounce bottle of "TheraNeem Scalp Therapy" base. All of the above ingredients can be found at Amazon, btw. The prices are right and the service is the best. Fear not!Fifty common Aspirin tablets and a fluid ounce of good clean DMSO top it all off, making for just over sixteen fluid ounces of product in-hand. The Neem and Sesame evidently (as expected from prior research) work together to kill off all manner of pupae and adult insects, residual yeasty fungus and similar co-infectious organisms on contact. Meanwhile, the Camphor Oil reliably kills any and all embedded eggs before they can hatch. The Aspirin (acetylSALICYLIC acid, my friends) softens the congealed exudate and breaks the stubborn adhesive bond between the injured tissues and those nasty embedded scales. The DMSO takes-up significant proportions of all of the above organic molecules and draws them down deep into the affected tissues, where the real seat of the problem is found. So now you know how it works. No great mystery. Just good old-fashioned Alternative Medicine, country-style! ;) Two applications daily (using a common eye-dropper, post-shampoo or not as conditions indicate and one chooses) is the most that is required. Things tend to improve noticeably within a mere week, ten days tops, or you're on the Wrong Track and no harm done but the time spent in the trying. Now, THAT's the "Old-Time Medicine" to love! Several thousand dollars' worth of doctor visits and hospital examinations haven't a candle to hold against this approach, I do freely say. Been through that mill, paid the bills, starved while paying, and finally decided to stop my own dang suffering, I did - and hey lookee Momma, it WORKS.So be thrifty, be safe, be careful, be wise, do your own homework - and be comforted. Such self-help as this is MUCH better than Bad Expensive "Professional Help" Gone Wrong! Here's to an end to YOUR lumpy-and-glazed scalp and all your own needless suffering, Beloved One! And that is all. 0{;-)o[
