I honestly love these. They don’t feel gooey and sticky like Gu gels do. These have a texture that feels more like a loose gelatin and for me, that makes it so much easier to get down without it leaving a coating over your entire mouth. I also really like the neutral flavor. It doesn’t have any sort of artificial taste and just tastes clean (I told someone it tastes like science bc it made sense to me but I don’t think they got it). They also seemed to sit well with my stomach despite being a little higher carb than what I’m used to. They also felt easier to open and ingest because of the opening being elongated a little and not flush with the body of the packet. Overall, I’m really happy with these and am trying to always have some on hand to keep in rotation for my long runs.

I use PF30 gels during weekly long runs to a good effect. I like the gel's sweetness and light-syrup constitution. It definitely provides an energy boost on hot summer days. Unlike Maurten Gels' wide opening, PF gels have a narrow opening at the mouth of the packet.

I have tried pretty much all of the gels on the market for both marathon and ironman races. I found out about PH when training for 70.3 race earlier this year and decided to give it a go. PH has become my favourite gel hands down. It has more carbs than other gels almost by 30% (most of them are 18-22g, here you get 30g), and I have never had stomach issues. I just ran CIM marathon where PH is an official nutrition on that race and got to try new chews of theirs and gotta say I’m in love! Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Have been using GU for years. It worked well, but on long rides the thickness was a drag. Tried these on the advice of friend how rides much more seriously than I do. I have had to pump up my carb/hr intake. These have a more per package. Easy on stomach. Wife tried and also had no issues. They are 2/3's the thickness of GU. The first one is a surprise how much thinner, not a bad thing. Taste is very mild, think of not fully set jello. The tear off opening keeping is a nice touch. If I had any gripe it would they are a little harder to empty while riding. GU is thick enough you can work all the GU out (toothpaste), these require a small learning curve.

Great gel. I had been using GU Roctane but I prefer this for its flavor, consistency and enhanced performance.

Great combo of carbs, and easy on the stomach. Plus 30g of carbs is nice, but could use a little more flavor imo.

Best gels I have had

I’ve tried a lot of gels, in the last two years I’ve sticked with Maurten. Now I decided to try the Precision to have more carbs in a single serving. I must admit that I love it. I love the neutral texture and the consistency (not too sticky, not too liquid). No GI issues. So probably next marathon will be with them!

Tried these 3 times now, taking a gel 30 minutes into a run, they actually taste very nice and are easy to digest. I have experienced no issues or discomfort taking the gels. Honestly the best gels I have tried. I currently run every day between 10 km to 16 km, early morning and fasted, so rely on the gel for that energy boost.
