Tasty replacement for Nabisco chocolate wafers.
Great substitute for Nabisco chocolate wafers as they are no longer made. My husband “requires” the Icebox cake for his birthday every year. So glad to find these wafer cookies. Very good.

I have to admit, these cookies are good. Perfect with afternoon tea. Little chunk of ginger and not too sweet.

Tasty and good Famous replacement, but order direct
These are really good- probably the closest replacement I’ve found for the discontinued Famous wafers. Texture isn’t exact, but I don’t think it will be noticeable when they’re ground up for cake crust, and the flavor is maybe slightly less bittersweet, but close enough. Looking forward to trying them out with baking, but probably will order direct from Dewey’s next time. For some reason it took over a month to receive them through Amazon (missing the event I had ordered them for), and Dewey’s website lists them at half the price.

Delicious cookies. Only problem is the number of broken cookies due to shipping. The crumbs make great toppings for ice cream.

Yummy but fragile
While we love these for cakes. They are fragile cookies many came broken up unable to be used. We keep trying though.
