So far very happy with this fork. Swapped this out for the heavy suntour xtc supsension fork on my specialized rockhopper 29. I ended up getting the 27.5 fork mainly because I didnt want too much tire clearance. However, I think it does set the bb a bit low. Stack height seems fine. Will follow up after a few rides but so far this has turned a heavy mtb into a sweet gravel/road ride!

Installed on 29er single speed - existing suspension fork weighed 6 lbs! New fork is about 3 inches shorter and over 4 lb lighter than old fork. Disc brake bracket and headset adapted perfectly. Be aware that removing the old headset bearing race and star nut takes up most of the installation time. The bike feels much more nimble, fork is solid over ruts and jumps. No negative effects due to the 3 inch change in fork length and I actually like the lower stance better. Long steerer tube allowed makes for much more comfortable upright handlebar height. Plenty of clearance for 52 mm tires.

This is the exact size for and feels like a great upgrade to the REI Co-op CTY 2.1. No cutting and the brakes line up with minimal tinkering. We'll see how long it lasts -- it feels pretty solid but doesn't have very many miles yet.I was able to pry the crown race off the old fork and install it on the new fork with some PVC. I bought a star nut and tool for 8 bucks to install in the new fork.

Super happy with the fork. Fit a 29er and no problem with me at 220lb. Finish is really nice and not gaudy. Caliper mounted perfectly with minimal adjustment to stop any rubbing. I’d recommend them.

The fork fits on my 29 inch wheel with a 2.5 inch tire. The brake disc clearance looks adequate. I haven’t installed it on the frame as there was no star nut included. I can update when I get a star nut ordered and put some miles on it. They included a water bottle which was a bonus.

Well it's good I'm 275 pounds and road this fork really hard though New England trails roots and rock it's solid.

The package arrived quickly and was professionally wrapped, complete with a race, star nut, and a water bottle. Installing them on my 29er MTB was hassle-free. As a big guy who doesn't do jumps, I don't require heavy shocks. Surprisingly, riding without suspension isn't bad at all, and I certainly don't miss the extra weight. The only tricky part of the installation was fitting the bottom race. Lacking a PVC pipe to hammer it down, I resorted to using a rawhide hammer to avoid damaging the race. It required some effort, but it was successful. I invested in an eight-dollar star nut kit to ensure it was installed evenly. It's possible to install it without the kit, as a YouTube tutorial might demonstrate. I highly endorse this fork; it has met all my expectations.

Sie sind ausgezeichnet verarbeitet, robust und widerstandsfähig, dazu leicht vom Gewicht her. Hinzu kommt, dass sie sehr stylisch aussehen mit schwarz und silber. Beim Fahren überzeugen die Fahrradgabeln absolut, Sprünge und schnelles Fahren halten sie sehr gut Stand. Der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung.

Da ich über den Winter ein Focus Whistler für meine Tochter aufgebaut habe, kam die Möglichkeit zum Test der Gabel nicht ungelegen. Ursprünglich war am Rad eine Suntour-Federgabel mit lockout, diese ist allerdings tatsächlich schwerer als der Rahmen selber.Da meine Tochter mit 11 noch problemlos auf eine gefederte Gabel verzichten kann, gab es hier gewichtsseitig also Einspar-Potenzial. Und das schlägt sich hier deutlich nieder, da sich das Gewicht des Rades im aktuellen Ausbauzustand fast halbiert hat.Zudem ist auch die Gesamtgröße nun deutlich kinderfreundlicher.Die Verarbeitung möchte ich mal als okay beschreiben. Alles ist gerade und in Flucht, die Schweißnähte wirken allerdings stellenweise etwas halbherzig, nicht etwa unsicher oder kritisch, aber erkennbar schief und nicht immer an der erwarteten Position.Im Gesamtbild reicht das in meinen reicht das so für 4 von 5 Sternen.
