Solid Gold Indoor Chicken Dry Cat Food High Fiber, Adult & Senior Cats 12LB

I had a client years ago who happened to be a Veterinarian and I asked her about what she fed her cat and she recommended the "Solid Gold" brand. I was worried my kitties would not take to it and figured I would have to slowly mix it into the food brand they were used to eating. Nope. I tried the Indigo Moon dry food and put it in a small bowl to see what would happen. WOW they immediately took to it and ate it. Since then this is the only food I give them. Gluten Free, no grains. high protein. definitely pricy compared to mass market brands in stores but worth every penny in my opinion.

Kitties love it, and it is less pricey than some other brands. I mix it with Orijen fish flavor (pricey but worth it). Kitties scarf it down without any digestive issues. Their coats are soft and thick. Will continue to buy. Solid Gold is reliable and consistent. Good product.

All of our cats love this dry food! We have our own cats & we foster cats. All of them have been very healthy & happy while on these varieties! It’s been about 10 years that we have used this Solid Gold brand and we have had only very healthy & happy cats!! 🤗 The cats love it & all of the flavors we’ve tried so far!! And I don’t know what I would do without THESE SELLERS!! They are ALWAYS on time, sometimes even early, with monthly subscription deliveries!! Especially when I’m in need of that extra bag, they are so fast to ship!! I’ve had cats all of my life and by far the quality of this high protein dry cat food brand is the absolute BEST by far!! I switched from IAMS Healthy Adult to this brand of cat food after reading that its good for digestion and comes in small pieces that are easier for cats to chew/break down. After combining this food with a slow feeder bowl, my cat maybe regurgitates her food once a month or less as opposed to once or twice a week before switching. I also like how it has better ingredients. This food is very pricey, but Amazon sometimes offers subscribe and save discounts that make it more manageable. My cat seems to like it and I will continue to purchase it. NOTE: I had some concerns about holes in the side of my bags near the ingredients list. They look like small X-shaped punctures and I ended up returning a few bags because of this. However, when I reached out to the company, they confirmed that these are just ventilation holes and are completely normal in production. I was worried maybe they were getting punctured during shipping, but that wasn't the case. It should be a small X-shaped hole on the side of the bag. Just making a note of this in case anyone else notices this.

My cats eat the good, they seem to like it. I just wish it was smaller kibble bc one of my 16 yr old girls is losing teeth and cat chew the food. Unfortunately, I will have to buy a different brand bc of this. But they do find it palatable, it’s easy to pour, it high in protein and other necessary nutrients for cats, kind of gives them stinky poohs though. Overall, I’d buy it again if it were smaller kibble. Pretty decent price which is why I decided to give it a try in the first place. I’ll only feed my girls grain free kibble. This was a good option. Unfortunately, for those kitties who are losing teeth, it’s hard for them to choke it down without be able to chew it.

Seems fine, my cat likes it; I put it in the bowl that still had some Purina kibble in it, and she ate up the Solid Gold & left the Purina. So I guess I'll be switching to it!

I feed my cats can food only. As a treat they gets some dry food. This was my first time purchasing this product and am very happy that my two indoor cats love it. There is no vomiting afterwards which makes me happy.

My kitty loves it! She’s not as itchy, red patches are gone and she seems much happier! She LOVES her wet food but begs for this too!

My cat has an allergy to chicken. This is one of a very few dry cat foods that do not contain chicken in some form. I hope they keep it in stock at a reasonable price.

PRODUCT DEFECT CANT REFUND DONT BUY! Ordered this in Jan 2024, item came and BUGS YES TINY BUGS started to crawl out of out cat food packaging. Found out that there are holes on the packaging which doesn’t ensure a tight seal around product. This isn’t the same from the usual product. Worst off you can return or refund product. DO NOT BUY
