Great sturdy keyboard for the price! Lights are cool
Great keyboard for the price. Very responsive and well built. Heavier in a good way. Keys seem sturdy and feel great. Lights are impressive for price range. Good click feel, yet not completely silent although very close. Great product for the money range. Great for gaming so far.

The best affordable keyboard
I've tried so many inexpensive keyboards. My problem is that they always get good reviews and they look great online through the pictures, but then they end up being cheap plastic in person. This keyboard is amazing. I was looking for a keyboard that is good with the hotkey commands like CTRL + C, and CTRL + V. I copy paste very fast and I need the keyboard to register my commands quickly without mistakes. This keyboard does all of that. The raised keys have a nice feeling and the keys are very quiet, which works for me. The keys feel a little bit tactile but with a membrane feel, because of membrane. The spacing between the keys make it easy to type without looking down so much and the RBG is adjustable. You can switch off the RGB lights, change the light pattern/breathing, and/or pick your favorite light color. The wrist rest is metal. The keyboard housing is metal. The keys are not metal. This is a nice, inexpensive keyboard that works well.

Amazing keyboard
Did not realize this was metal when I got it but boy do I love it! All the different settings, the way it feels and the perfect clickety clackety. It's a great price and I got it same day when I ordered it

Definitely a Budget Keyboard - But a Nice Budget Keyboard
Overall, I'm fairly impressed with the TECKNET RGB Gaming Keyboard. It's a lot better than I thought it would be for a budget keyboard. It looks really good and the keys are pretty responsive, though you do have to press a bit more to get them to respond than I'm used to with my old, loud mechanical keyboard. It is pretty quiet, too, which is nice if you need to type with others in the house or late at night. Having said that, there's one thing that's really bugging me about this keyboard. All of the keys are great ... all of them except the spacebar. The spacebar uses two cheap springs, one on either side, to cause the spacebar to 'equally' spring up after a press. This key feels less solid than the other keys and the way this one was put together makes the spacebar the one noisy key on the entire board. It's not bad, but since the other keys are so quiet, the spacebar stands out and after a good bit of typing, I find it's annoying me. The spacebar should be as quiet as all the other keys and it's not. As nice as this budget board is, the spacebar makes me consider sending it back for a refund. Set up is super simple. I'm on a Windows PC and all I had to do was plug in the USB cable to my PC and I was ready to go. You can't get any simpler than that. But you also expect that from keyboards. Customizing the lighting is limited compared to more expensive keyboards where you can download software and control almost every aspect of the RGB lighting. However, the colors you're given and the control you do have via the keyboard is good. In my case, it's good enough. Overall, this is a nice keyboard that, in my opinion, looks better than the asking price, but is definitely a budget board.

Great keyboard for the price!
First impressions, REALLY good for the price. Nice quiet keys, Cheap, nice RGB. I had a similar keyboard before and it served me really well for 4 years without issue, just was a different brand.

Giga Chad tecknet vs the virgin chud razer
Great for the price. I’ve had it for 9 months and I haven’t exactly been super gentle with it, but it still works perfectly. It doesn’t have switches, just the rubber nubs like a laptop would have, but it still feels good to use. Plus, switches are over rated; the nubs are a lot quieter. I also just realized I can actually change the RGB on it as well, so that’s a bonus. For comparison: I just bought a $130 razer keyboard, and have had nothing but issues with it; straight out of the box multiple keys had broken rgb lights, and there’s the headache of downloading all their bloatware. This keyboard just plugs in and fires up. For less than 1/3 of the price, this keyboard is a steal. Yes, razer had me missing my $40 amazon keyboard so bad I had to come back to review it, and yes I’m switching from that $130 paperweight to this one.

Rapid wear and tear but quick and fair results
I ultimately have mixed feeilngs about this keyboard. It was initially a 5-star, but after less than a year started showing some wear and tear. The num lock stopped working for a few weeks, but all of a sudden started working again. Several times the wasd have gotten mixed up with the arrow keys without using the keyboard shortcut to swap them. It still works good and is good quality for the price point. I've only had one key pop off and I've been able to reattach it with ease. The W and S key paint has also worn off with frequent use. However, I was contacted by the seller. They offered me a few options. I chose a replacement keyboard, but I was unforutnately sent a Polish keyboard. At least, I believe it's one based on the research I did, even though they say they're the same model number. They aren't. I don't understand why they think I would be able to use it when I've only used US standard QWERTY keyboards. At this point they're only offering me a lesser amount of money, even though I've offered to send back the one they gave me because I can't use it! Final remarks: All issues resolved. I was given a gift card as compensation.

Great budget gaming keyboard with impressive lighting for the price
I grabbed this TECKNET gaming keyboard as a backup for my main setup, and it ended up performing way better than I expected. The 15-zone RGB illumination is surprisingly clean and vibrant — not the washed-out rainbow you see on a lot of budget boards. The lighting is bright enough to look great in a dark room, and the transitions between colors are smooth. The overall build feels sturdy for a value keyboard, with very little deck flex and nice weight to keep it from sliding around. For something this affordable, it definitely looks and feels more premium than I anticipated. Typing on it is also better than I expected from a non-mechanical board. The keys have a comfortable, responsive feel with a nice soft click that isn’t too loud. It’s not mechanical, obviously, but it’s far from mushy — you can type and game for hours without fatigue. The key legends are clear, the layout is standard, and the function shortcuts are easy to access. I also appreciate the IP32 water-resistant rating. I haven’t spilled anything on it yet (thankfully), but it’s nice peace of mind if you’re someone who keeps drinks near your setup. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it lacks some of the extra features you find in higher-end keyboards. There’s no dedicated software for customizing the lighting beyond the built-in effects, and the key switches aren’t as refined as a true mechanical board. The cable is also a bit stiff. But honestly, at this price point, those are easy trade-offs to overlook. If you want a reliable, bright, and comfortable RGB gaming keyboard without spending mechanical keyboard money, this TECKNET board is a very solid choice.
