These earrings are not only pretty but they are comfortable and light weight!

I got these for my mom's 88th birthday. She's had a rough year and is currently in a rehab facility as she awaits a bed in a skilled nursing facility across the country. Mom has always had such flair for fashion and being stuck in a place now where she can't wear her fine jewelry, she still puts on her lipstick every day. She wanted earrings she could wear every day because her diamond hoops were just for special occasions. These fit the bill as they were inexpensive enough to not worry about getting lost; they are neutral to wear with everything; they are the perfect size to be noticeable but not so big to be clunky; these are so lightweight she doesn't feel them in her ears.Most importantly, she has gotten compliments on them every day she wears them, and to hear the giggle in her voice when she tells me someone noticed her earrings again and said how pretty she looks (she is pretty anyway, but she thinks the earrings are trick-lol) is worth every penny for these earrings! We call them her "magic earrings" I ordered a pair for myself because I want some of that magic in my life, too!

They are indeed the perfect simple, elegant earring to accompany my cameo. The freshwater pearls give them a unique quality without taking attention away from the cameo.The spring close back keeps them in place (no worrying that one of the earrings has fallen out), and the gold plating offers hypoallergenic benefits, so there is no metal reactivity. The white pearls are definitely not genuine pearls, although this won't be noticed right away and only if one looks closely. These are very nice lever-back earrings; they seem very sturdy. The lever-backs and faux-freshwater pearls are full-size, suitable for adults (and older children). The faux pearls are somewhat flattened in shape (i.e. not completely 3-D) but look nice, regardless. The pearls are pure white with cool undertones; I opted for the sterling silver lever-backs; this was a good choice, because the cool white stones and silver wires match well. I prefer lever-backs because they stay fastened and don't get lost. Be aware that most faux pearls have warmer undertones; if you want to match these earrings with other faux-pearl jewelry, this may be an issue. Also be aware that the packaging is bare-bones and not suitable for gift-giving. I expect to wear these earrings happily for years to come.
