Is this real Parafilm or just grafting tape? They are not the same thing

This does seem to be the real parafilm

Can you use this to seal petrie dishes?

Mine is a roll only an inch wide. It might work to seal a small test tube. It would make a nonconstricting wrap for a plant graft.
