Phone won’t acknowledge battery
I installed this second gen. battery and two other first gen. batteries. The first gen. phones both work great with their new batteries. This second gen. phone says “battery not recognized” and will not charge. It shows 0% and will come on for only a few minutes if plugged in and then turns off. I’ve tried everything I can think of short of contacting the seller, which I’m about to do. I’ll return with an update. Amazon is sending another one for free. I haven't received it yet but am not very hopeful since watching YouTube videos. It's not the batteries fault but Apples. Since approximately 2020, they have made it difficult to replace batteries without special equipment. Don't waste your time or money on these iPhone se 2nd gen. phones or any newer model phones. At least before you do, watch YouTube videos that will explain the difficulties. If the replacement works, I'll update here. UPDATE- The seller has offered to give me my money back. I declined because it’s not the sellers fault but Apples. I am changing my rating from one star to five for this reason. The seller is honorable and their batteries are fine. Apple phones are great. Apple needs to appreciate their customers more and not be so greedy.

***WARNING: DO NOT BUY***
I've had an iPhone 4, 4S, 5S, 2016 SE, and now a 2020 SE. I have purchased a battery for each one at some point, and replaced it myself. NEVER have I had the issues I've had with this battery! I purchased the battery in December 2024, but didn't install it until a few weeks ago in March 2025. First off, everything seemed fine. I did notice that the battery seemed to charged up to 100% much faster than my old Apple battery, which I thought was odd. And I noticed that it seemed to hold a charge longer, based on the battery meter on my phone, which is expected. A couple weeks after installing the battery, apps weren't working so well, glitching in weird ways. Then after 3 weeks my phone went from 50% battery to completely dead! The phone came back on, but refuses to take a charge and refuses to stay on when it does start up. I checked the battery health on my iphone and it shows Maximum Capacity is 0%!!! It won't take a charge and shuts down when I try to run anything on my phone! I wish I had kept my old battery that was at 85% Max Capacity. I have ordered a new battery from another seller, now I've just got to wait a few days without a functioning phone for it to arrive! If you dare make a purchase here, please keep your old battery also, if it still functions at all. Because this one may very well die on you randomly after a few weeks and you'll be without a phone! You've been warned! Thank you!

Replacing an iPhone battery is hard to do successfully
I've attempted to replace my wife's iPhone battery 3 times. One success and two failures. The problem is trying to reconnect what must be the world's smallest connectors. Fortunately, Amazon sells refurbished iPhones for a reasonable price with super fast delivery. Just remember to back up your phone to the cloud before attempting "open heart" surgery.

Replacement battery
Don't buy it. Didn't work. Like the other guy said it comes on for 2 seconds to tell you the batteries not recognizable. Go to am Apple store to replace or buy a new pho e. I wasted my money.

Not worthy
Doesn’t include all the tools. Battery life is sub-par. I did the recommended 3-5 cycles and it’s about the same as the apple if not worse. If I was willing to Disassemble and go through that headache again I would return it. Avoid.
