Ravensburger Star Wars Villainous Revenge at Last Game for Age 10+

Great Star Wars game, part of the villainous series. You can play this on its own or as optional characters against the base game or other expansion characters. Great game design and quality pieces. My major warning would just be that its not a quick game to pick up and the recommended age of 10+ is really a minimum as it can be quite complicated before you get into the swing of it. Best thing to do with these games is to watch a Youtube video of people playing it to get to grips with how it works. This set contained Darth Maul and Phasma

Everything about the components and game play is great. Maul is definitely the more fun to play of the two characters in this set. Phasma just seemed a little dull to me, but Villainous is a game where the people you're playing with will make or break it.

Great game value for money

This is a great game for two. There is a lot going on so takes a while to go through the instructions but once you’ve done that it’s a great game. We don’t have the original and just played this on its own but will definitely be looking to purchase the original game to go with this so we can play different characters. Good game even if you’re not massively into Star Wars.

Bought to give to my Star Wars obsessed son at a later date, this expansion to the main Star Wars Villainous game can be played standalone or combined with the original. It adds two new characters which each have their own mission goals and card sets. Me and my son have had great times together playing the regular Star Wars villainous, although my son does tend to to hog a certain separatist general somewhat. It takes a bit of time to digest the rules and specific goals for each character, but it’s not too hard and my 11yr old son picked it up quite quickly (well, faster than me at least). I recommend watching one of the many tutorials on YouTube if you are just starting out with the game and find yourself struggling to pick it up. Overall, the villainous games are fun and have just the right level of complexity for older children and adults. If you are a Star Wars nerd or come from a Star Wars loving family, you should enjoy it! Whilst an expansion of the main game, you can play this on its own, so it could be used as a cheaper taster if you aren’t sure that you want to buy the main game (which has five characters in total). I happened to pick up this during a sale at a bargain price, so it was an easy purchase, especially given how my son has taken to the main game.

Perfect quality, really fun game and not a bad price at all for the game. Difficulty of this particular game can be challenging but it's really fun once you've got the hang of it. Would recommend to others who love Star Wars or just villainous!

There's a whole series of Villainous games by Ravensburger covering a number of different themes. In the Star Wars universe there's at least 3 I know of - this set can be played alone as a 2-player game, or combined with the other SW games to include more players. Star Wars Villainous - Power of the Darkside has 5 characters and Scum and Villainy has 3, so all combined you could have up to 10 players involved! Villainous gameplay is quite unique - it's like a combination between Top Trumps, MTG and a board game. Each player has their own set of cards, and objectives. Gameplay is quite complex at first, but you quickly get the hang of it. It's a lot of fun with a wide appeal and unlike anything else I've tried. Note - while this isn't Bridge, if you like simple games that take 5 mins to learn, look elsewhere! The game component quality is excellent - the photographs don't really do them justice. If you're a Star Wars fan, young or old, you'll find something to enjoy in this game. Highly recommended!
