SP652 All-Weather Epoxy Paint – Satin Black Spray Paint – 11 oz Aerosol Can

Great product. Summer of 2025 I spray painted metal patio furniture that was starting to rust. ( we are 15 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean) The furniture was out in the weather all winter, no rust as of 6-2026. WOW!

I’ve been using VHT products for years on bikes—especially Harleys—and this black is very close to the factory powder coat look. It’s perfect for small parts that don’t take a lot of abuse or aren’t worth sending out for powder coating—things like washers, bolts, brackets, and small trim pieces. I’ve had parts coated with this on bikes for years with no issues. It holds up well and keeps a clean look. One thing I do is keep a light coat of wax on the painted parts, and that helps maintain the shine and finish over time. If you’re looking for a quick, cost-effective way to match that Harley black and clean up small parts, this is a great option.

Good stuff. Use 3 light coats and you get a decent finish. I used this to cover a worn tub faucet and it has held up very well. I also have used it on an old truck frame. I'd recommend it for door handles, faucets, metal gates, and more. Don't waste time and money on other products for this type of application. If it needs to be bulletproof, use this.

AWESOME choice when I decided to restore the bathroom fixtures in our shower/tub. Paint cured just the way I wanted it to. Tried regular spray paint however the paint flaked off. With this paint the adhersion was is amazing and performed the task I was exactly looking for. To get the results you're looking for make sure you apply several "light" coats of paint and allow ample drying time in between to obtain the best results. I highly recommend this product.

Been using this for years, it gives a simple satin finish which is super durable for paint, like, near powder coating levels of durability. It is however very finicky in terms of temps and really only works well in a pretty narrow range. Too cold or too hot and it'll get runny and spray horribly, get it in the zone and it's magic. Good product once you learn the downfalls.

Couldn't be happier with this paint. No dripping (except slightly where I didn't remove grease properly - more about that below) and very fast drying. I painted four 16" car wheels with about one and a half can, two light layers and one wet coat as per the instructions, plus a bit extra to make sure I really covered it all, and one layer on the back of the wheel. Now, as far as my comment about dripping goes, I made the mistake to sand and clean two wheels still attached to the car while I was waiting for the paint to dry on the other two which I had cleaned horizontally. Even though I took care to use a liberal amount of grease and wax remover and to wipe the two vertical wheels well, when I put the first coat on (after removing the wheels and putting them down flat), there were two spots where the paint didn't attach properly at first. No big deal for me, but now you know. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't rush it. After reading some comments about the paint being very thin, I made sure to shake the cans for almost twice as long as the suggested one minute. My experience was that the paint came out easily and evenly, not thin at all. I had purchased a separate nozzle attachment to prevent accidents but I didn't need it at all. The nozzle also allowed me to spray pretty accurately. I couldn't really get everything out of the can because of the angle I had to spray at, but other than that this was as painless a paint job as I could have dreamed of. Highly recommended.

Love the finish this leaves when applied to steel/metal parts. That perfect satin finish. Doesn't cost any more than the other good satin brand paint, but i prefer this brand to all the others.

Does a nice job of covering up car parts and leaves a nice and smooth, hard coating. Works well for cleaning up the engine bay or wheel well by getting a quick coat of black to make things look new(er).
