This is better than I hoped. Good material, thick enough to remain sturdy an 100% blocking. Good value IMO.

The chemical odor on this is so strong that it leaves a taste in your mouth just being in the same room as the curtain. You definitely don't want this product near any loved one or your worst enemy for that matter. Even after throwing away the curtain which I couldn't return because it was cut, weeks later my house still has a subtle smell left of the curtain. Even after cleaning. Do yourself a favor and find a better solution. You'd be much better off covering your windows with aluminum foil or black trash bags as crazy as that sounds. Stay blessed.

We've got night shift workers in the house so having a dark room in the daytime is needed. This is fantastic! It is easy to put up. Definitely large enough. And it thankfully blocks out everything. This means the family can get some sleep after a long night of work. Less cranky family members mean the world to me. this is a lifesaver!

Having a huge east facing bedroom window here in south Florida is a nightmare. Even with cellular "thermal" shades the room gets to over 85 degrees while the rest of the house is a comfortable 73 and all by 3PM even with the AC running full blast. I figured trying these out could not be any worse - and I am shocked how much better it worked than expected. Easy to cut to size and hang with the included velcro - but I used my own spool of hook and loop tape so I could seal all the way around 360 degrees. It took maybe 15 minutes total from measuring to having a very noticeably cooler room. While hanging the curtain you could feel the heat blasting through the glass and now it feels like it is truly insulated. As I type this (a few days later) the room temp is now only 76 degrees - I mean just wow - that's almost 10 degrees cooler than normal and we have had record heat for this time of year with no clouds in the sky to speak of. It fits tight against the window frame so you can still use your exiting shades and blinds as well so you do not need to see them if you are concerned about existing the room decor. Made a huge difference here in the sun and heat for me so I would imagine it would work great up north for winter weather as well on north facing windows to keep the cold out.

used the product on my bedroom window where sun comes in very bright in the mornings. It shields my window from the sun quite well, although I would have preferred more of the stickers to make sure the whole frame was covered without letting any sunlight in.

This year I went down the path of total black out mode!! Started with Curtains ... costly. Than I stumbled onto this product. Installed them as well. These work really well and maybe - no actually better bang for the blackout buck! Now I have both - Curtains and these cut out and temporary installed for the hot summer days. Very happy with this product!!
