This may is perfect. I wanted a map that wasn’t so busy that it distracted from our game. And this hit the spot. Every time I bring it to a mah-jongg game everybody comments how nice it is. And the tile slide so easily. Highly recommended.

Well made and attractive. Took a bit for wrinkles to come out but is all good now. Love the reminders about the Charleston and dragons.

This mah-jong table mat was just the right size. The color is a beautiful standout blue. The best thing about this mat is that it has the American mah-jong game directions printed on it.

I bought this on sale. I am learning and wanted something affordable. Others have mentioned an issue with the placements of the "winds" symbols and some typos, mine was correct. If come in a variety of colors, I bought black as I wanted contrast with the tiles I bought. Seems are sooth and I saw no defects. a slight neoprene smell at the beginning. Overall good for the price and for beginners like me.

Perfect. Non slip no noise. Protects tiles

This is a well made mat perfect for playing Mahjong. There are different colours to choose from. I like the thickness of the mat. The rubber provides some weight and grip so that the mat doesn’t slide around while playing. It is also thick enough that it reduces noise of the shuffling and placing of tiles. On the surface, the fabric is very smooth so the tiles slide easily. I believe it is also adhered well to the rubber so that the fabric doesn’t curl up to make ridges. The print also is detailed and crisp. The borders also have stitching to keep it together. Of note, the mat is 32.4” x 32.4”. While tables come in many sizes, common sizes include 28x28, 32x32, 36x36, etc. I am not sure why 32.4 was chosen. Perhaps on a flat table, it can cover the edges also. But for my table, the edges are raised to keep tiles from falling off. It turned out my inner measurements were 31.78”. As such the mat would stick out over the edge on all sides, or if only one side tucked in the other side sticks out. So measure your inner square dimensions. Then the question is, can you trim it to size? Surprisingly yes, if necessary. Because the fabric adheres to the rubber mat, a large sharp pair of fabric scissors can trim it. The borders might potentially fray or peal overtime though if you trim away the stitched edges. A very nice mat.

I have been searching for a decent Mahjong mat for a long time. I'm not particularly interested in bright highly saturated un-natural colours and this black mat came up in my feed. Finally! A decent "colour" mat to review, which contrasts the white tile colour very well. The 2F22E Mahjong mat, I must say has been excellent. It's a decent thickness, has a very well printed top image. (Did I mention, I love that it's black?) The image is very clear, the text is easily readable, and the space available for your tile wall and your hand is perfect. The edge of the mat is stitched well with completely covered edging. The neoprene material is dense and seems very robust. It does an excellent job protecting my table surface while tossing around hard Mahjong tiles. I was surprised by the overall weight of the matt, it's hefty, speaking to the overall rubber thickness and quality. I appreciate the included carrying/storage sleeve which has a cinch loop closure at the top which doubles as carrying handles when closed. I did find that once stored, it's somewhat floppy and weighty, so to make handling a bit more manageable I have added a sturdy cardboard mailing tube to the setup which I roll the mat around before sliding it into the storage sleeve, this keeps the mat from bending in half and helps it keep it's shape when rolled. There is a slight smell to the rubber, but this is expected with new neoprene material and the smell has started to go away fairly quickly. Secondly, the mat arrived folded in a flat carboard box therefore it does have a bit of a bump along the centre from edge to edge where it was initially folded in it's shipping box. When unrolled on the table, it does still have a bump. I'm not concerned though as it is now stored rolled in it's sleeve, and that fold seems to be slowly relaxing away. I've got a couple Mahjong sets, one has solid smooth plastic tiles, the other is much older, with bamboo backs glued to bone faces. The plastic set slides perfectly on the fabric surface of the mat. The bone/bamboo set, being old and a bit beat up, with bamboo which is not varnished or smooth, get's caught on the fabric weave. So while playing and sorting your hand, you must lift and place your tiles to avoid them catching on the fabric weave. I will not remove stars for this issue, as that particular set is quite old and not well constructed. The majority of Mahjong sets are smooth, varnished, and clean, without raw, rough bamboo backs! Something to be aware of none-the-less. Overall this is an excellent mat and it is a very nice addition to my Mahjong playing. I don't have a dedicated table therefore being able to quickly roll out the mat and have a perfect playing surface to play on is extremely beneficial. The included storage/carrying sleeve is a nice addition. Worthy of consideration.

The dimensions are just shy of three (3) square feet. of playing space. For our needs is perfect. The mat reminds me of a good quality, really large, mousepad. The edges are finished to prevent fray damage. The included storage bag allows for quick storage between uses, while keeping it protected from dust and debris. The mat is easy to maintain and keep clean with a damp microfibre cloth. This mat can be used to play just about any tabletop game, cards, or even puzzles. The non-slip mat offers a padded play surface, which is a little more comfortable to use than playing on a solid surface. The texture on the top is also more tactile a comfortable to play on. All in all, this has been a good addition to our game area when we play on the patio. We do not need to worry about the table top becoming scratched or similar. The quality on this mat has exceeded our expectation. Recommended. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

This mahjong mat exceeded my expectations. Our family can get quite intense during game nights, and this mat has done a great job protecting our table from all the movement and clatter. It has a soft, grippy texture that keeps the tiles in place and provides a nice surface to play on. The size is perfect for various table games, not just mahjong, so we’ve been using it for card games and board games too. The material feels durable and well-made. Definitely a great addition for any game lover.
