Ajoura 2.5 lb Wax Beads for Hair Removal, Premium Hard Wax for Coarse Hair

Im making this review just to simply express my appreciation for this product. I’ve been using this for a little over a year and this product has been the best hard wax I’ve ever used, with other brands it was common for my skin to show signs of irritation even when they were marketed as being for sensitive skin and it made me think “what’s the point if I’m still getting the same irritation reaction I get from shaving?” but when I switched to this there hasn’t been not one time where I had personally experienced irritation. I’m truly so grateful that I randomly stumbled upon this brand because it’s truly amazing and the fact that it’s so affordable when many brands charge $15+ for only 8oz but with this you get a POUND for only 11-12 bucks after tax, like you truly can’t go wrong with that and because of that it makes me feel like the owner(s) of this brand care about those who can’t afford to regularly go to a waxing place and those who can’t afford to consistently spend $15+ on top of shipping fees for a small amount of wax beads and that means a lot to me because we all deserve to feel good, look good and pamper ourselves without having to spend an arm and a leg to do so. Those few reasons are exactly why I’ve stay with this product and refuse to use anything else even if it would be more convenient in the sense that I wouldn’t have to wait for shipping because I truly feel like they want those who are on a budget to still be able to do something that’s considered a “luxury” and not a necessity but doing things that make you feel good and happy ARE a necessity! So if you’re considered buying this I highly recommend that you should because you won’t be disappointed.

The best wax I’ve found so far! Easy to use and the wax hardens quick but remains elastic and soft so it is easy to pull off. It doesn’t rip skin and it hurts far less than other wax. It grabs all the hair so great coverage. Overall a better wax!

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review so willingly and wantingly! This wax was amazinggggg!!! I prefer a stretchy wax that allows me make long thin strips and has a slower drying time. I’ve used wax that breaks with thin strips, breaks way the knees or leaves patches but this one I cannot exaggerate how amazing it is! It melted very quickly which I also loved and the little wax I had to use for big parts was amazing it grabbed almost all the hair barely any even short hair was waxed off! Only small downside was how hard it was to get out of the bag because it’s such a soft melting consistency. AND FOR THE PRICE, not even the known brands have made me this eager to purchase more this quickly 10/10

I really like these hard wax beads. They melt easily and have a smooth consistency that makes them easy to apply. I also like that it feels gentle on my skin and leaves the area feeling smooth afterward. The bag is a great amount for the price and should last for several uses. Overall, I’m happy with the results and would definitely recommend these wax beads! 🤩🥰

As far as at-home waxing goes this is a reasonable product. I don’t have a warming pot, I have a silicone wax microwave cup and silicone spatula stick. The wax stays warm long enough in the cup and dries quickly on your skin. It’s easy to remove and is relatively pain free. I have sensitive skin but I had no skin reactions. These white beads have a pleasant but light coconut scent. I’d recommend getting the melting pot if you use these beads because it took me 5 hours to wax my legs and bikini line 😂 (Many trips to the microwave for 5 minutes a cup.) Unfortunately any hairs which grow in a different direction to the wax removal remained afterwards so that’s the only reason I give it 4 stars. It also was unable to remove the hairs that were slightly shorter. Hair length at the time of removal was about 4mm or longer. Anything shorter was not removed by the wax, so have your tweezers ready.

I never thought much about the wax I used before other than I always stuck with a blue wax. I am not loyal to one brand and just shop for sales with good reviews. I came across this and thought I'd give it a try and boy I am glad I did. I have never used a wax with such a nice creamy consistency before. It melted pretty quickly and stayed a good consistency long after I turned off my warmer. The smell was only noticeable when I stuck my nose in the bag, its coconut but barely. I would of shipped it back if it had a chemical smell or just gross but it wasn't noticeable when it was being used. It went on smooth and pulled all the hair with only a thin layer. I think I will try to stick with this stuff because it was just noticeably nicer than the other waxes I have been using for the past 20 years.

I ordered this because I was broke and I wanted to wax my face. I have PCOS and suffer with a lot of hair growth I’ve tried it all bleaching, waxing and threading, even shaving on frustrated bad days. Anyway, I thought I could stretch my money buying this to not only wax my face but whatever else I wanted too. I’ve been dreaming of waxing my entire body and I have the bravery and desperation now to try it myself. At first my impression was that the wax was really cheap and that it wouldn’t be good for beginners who have never gotten waxed and have never tried to wax themselves. It would be too painful. The first couple times I tried to wax myself over the previous years have been very painful, time consuming, and I never follow through. After some time of getting professionally waxed my hairs aren’t thinner but they are used to be removed so they come off much easier than before. It took me a while to feel out the wax and adjust to using it but once I figured it out it worked great. I am not a professional I’m just a hairy woman who dreams of being soft, feminine and hair free. Some tips I have are to scrub/exfoliate before waxing to release the hairs that could be trapped under dead skin. Don’t moisturize after and dry the area throughly. If you have some powder use it if you don’t I didn’t but it would help. Make sure you layer it on thick against the hair growth, leave a decent area that isn’t picking up hair to have somewhere painless to pull from, let it dry completely and pull with the direction of the hair growth quickly. I do large sections but they can be painful so do whatever you think is best for you. The wax has the plastic feeling that is just right and pulls GREAT. It pulls course hair and even ALL the microscopic baby hairs. Me and my boyfriend were shocked to see it. The melter is great I love the digital screen and temperature control definitely works. Better than the one I brought in the past I have no complaints. I’ve found the best temperature to keep the wax on when waxing is 150. I’ve been able to wax my face, my armpits, arms and half leg because of this so I’m happy with it. I did have to order extra wax but the wax that came with the set is definitely enough to do your full face, armpits, and full arms with some left over not sure if I used too much wax but hopefully this puts it into perspective for you. On a final note I would like you to know that I am someone who cares a lot about quality of products and quality of ingredients. I don’t think this wax has the best ingredients but again, being broke, I said f**k it. Im glad I did because the wax pulls the hairs out very well. I would say the melter is definitely worth the price love that it comes with sticks. If you’re someone who doesn’t like the ingredients you can use whatever wax you feel comfortable in the warmer and keep the wax the bundle comes with for emergency. The digital display is really the game changer and makes it worth the price compared to others. I will also say that I have sensitive skin and this wax did not burn or irritate my skin. Just be careful and always look at the temperature of the wax one small accidental movement of the dial can drastically increase the temperature. You want it just warm enough to be thick like a gel and spread nicely but cool enough not to burn when applied to the skin try between 140-150 and blow first. My armpits are so soft :)

I feel so amazing after using this. I feel like it got a lot more hairs than other waxes and it really didnt hurt at all. There's also no chemical smell either as they melt. They melted super fast and hardened quickly as well to make the total wax time about 30 minutes. I used these in my upper lip, neck, and chin. I definitely feel very confident and my skin isnt as red as it normally is.

Excellent wax

These hard wax beads are excellent! They melt smoothly, grip the hair well, and remove it cleanly without leaving too much residue. I’ve tried a few other brands before, but these are definitely better — less painful, easier to work with, and perfect for sensitive areas like the bikini line or face. The 1lb refill lasts a long time, and the wax sets just right for at-home use. Whether it’s legs, arms, or smaller areas, this kit makes DIY waxing much easier and more effective. Highly recommend for anyone looking for reliable, professional-feeling results at home!

Used these beads for waxing Mum's face (and mine). Despite lack of experience with waxing, had zero problems, and was able to remove all hair. Some parts I went over twice (those ones along the jawline/bone that are on a strange angle). We have a wax warmer that keeps it at a steady temperature - so it goes on warm, not hot. Has that funny pizza cheese effect as you pull the spatula away (tiny hair-like strands) but this doesn't affect results, and I've had same thing with other brands since. We've since tried another brand (Charmonic Hard Wax Beads - Lavender), with a slightly different consistency, which works just as well, if not perhaps better? (It's marginal) The new brand is cheaper, probably spreads a little better, and I didn't have to go over twice on those areas, but this might be because over time (using the first brand, Ajoura Wax Beans) the hair is just weaker and growing less. Definitely noticed a huge decrease in Mum's facial hair growth, as well as coarseness. I don't have to pluck any afterwards either, like I used to with the Veet hardwax. I love that these waxes can be used on lower temperatures, and pulled off without strips. For reference, I used a Veet wax warmer (cheapie bought at Chemist Warehouse) which takes 30 minutes to bring the wax to a standard controlled temperature, which works perfectly with this wax. Though I eventually plan to buy a different warmer as this one is a bit small and the design is awkward.

Way better wax than the others I’ve purchased on Amazon - I love how it doesn’t stink! Make sure you exfoliate, powder, get your temp right & timing when it hardens. Prep is super important!
