It’s A Good Iron
It heats quickly and is not heavy. I love the color. The auto shut-off alerts before shutting off the iron. For me, it emits the perfect amount of steam. It’s one of my favorite irons.

The last iron you will ever need.
I have been ironing weekly for 26 years. I wear uniforms (required) at work. I needed a steam iron to replace my last Rowenta that stopped working. I also have owned Panasonic (excellent with ceramic plate), and Black and Decker. However, after using the Chi; I can say that this steam iron takes the crown and leaves everyone in the dust. With 1700 watts, this monster delivers huge amount of heat and steam if needed. No cordless iron could duplicate that performance. It glides effortlessly. Especially on polyester. The titanium ceramic plate is magic. Congrats Chi. #1!

Best iron I've ever owned.
Had this iron for 8 years with absolutely zero issues. Probably the best iron I've ever owned. No water leaks, ample heat settings and great non-stick coating. I finally had to order a new one due to me dropping mine and it started leaking water. Wasn't leaking a lot, but enough to annoy me. That was totally my fault though and no blame on the manufacturer. Get this iron, you won't regret it.

Great Iron, worth the money
I love this iron! It heats up pretty quickly and the steam function and water function works great. I also really like the look of the iron. I had no idea that CHI made clothing irons. Something I don’t like is that the retractable cord sometimes needs to be pulled out farther so that the retractable cord button works and pulls the cord all the way back in. It can be a little annoying sometimes, but nothing too bad. I do wish that it was easier to look into the water reservoir. It’s a little hard to look into it because of the dark red color. I also like the auto-shut off safety feature and the instructions were easy to follow. It’s not noisy at all either. I got it on sale at $69 so I’d say it was worth the money.

Sweet irons
Oh yeah, I broke my wife’s so I had to buy her a new one. She had one like this, but it decor didn’t go in this one. The cord goes in and she absolutely loves it a lot more No I can use hers to do whatever I want with and I don’t touch hers I would suggest getting you one of these. It’s pretty sweet. as you can see cord on the outside cord within the inside, so much better having it on the inside.

In both Form and Function, I found it wholly unusable.
A long time customer of that brand that starts with "R", I thought I'd try out this brand when shopping for a replacement after my latest model died. My new relationship with CHI didn't last an hour. The first thing I realized is that this CHI was requiring a substantial amount of time and effort just to make a dent in my linen shirts. I had it set correctly, full steam on and linen heat. The "R" brand has always made quick and easy results of my linen shirts. The next thing I realized with this CHI is that the steam burst isn't even close to being a burst of steam. Trying to use that so I could hope to make some progress with my linen shirts only yielded more disappointment. I'd label it a lukewarm sneeze versus a steam burst. Then I realized that on the side of my forefinger between the base of the finger and the knuckle I'd developed a blister. Less than an hour of use of this CHI iron had given me a blister. Why? Because its form is as bad as its function. First the handle is very short in length. Then for some reason they made the buttons (steam burst/water shot) flare outwards at the top resulting in the top surface of the buttons extend beyond the width of the handle. Then they made that outward flare have a thin lip that cuts into your hand. There's the source of my blister. There literally is no manner of holding this where my forefinger can avoid the over-sized buttons. Without a way to prevent the flared edge lip from cutting into my finger. That said, I'll point out that I am a 6ft tall male. A very petite female hand may find the handle suits them ok. In my opinion - I shouldn't have to select a brand of steam iron based on my gender. When this CHI model is priced higher then some of the "R" brand models, it's all the more clear - CHI disappoints.

It lasts a long time.
I’ve used this iron for years and I love the fact that it gives so much steam and it’s not too heavy.

Not working. Water leaking. Wire not spinning back
Extreamly disappointed. The water is leaking. The wire not returning to original position. It already burnt 3 of my adaptors as in Dubai we have different plug. Seller please contact me to arrange return and refund. Terrible product

This iron does the work
Have only used a couple of times but very happy so far. I didn't know an iron was suppose to glide & essentially help the ironing process. Smooth, easy to manoeuver, light & don't get me started on the amount of steam this thing produces - it's great. Guess I'm pretty happy with purchase. Hoping it operates as well as it does in a year from now & after another 50 uses.

Steamy and tall
Great iron with good weight to it. Steams super well and works awesome on line and heavy cotton. One thing to note is if you have a wall-hung iron and board, this iron is long (due to the cord storage in the base) and will not fit into a traditional iron holder.
