The last iron you will ever need.
I have been ironing weekly for 26 years. I wear uniforms (required) at work. I needed a steam iron to replace my last Rowenta that stopped working. I also have owned Panasonic (excellent with ceramic plate), and Black and Decker. However, after using the Chi; I can say that this steam iron takes the crown and leaves everyone in the dust. With 1700 watts, this monster delivers huge amount of heat and steam if needed. No cordless iron could duplicate that performance. It glides effortlessly. Especially on polyester. The titanium ceramic plate is magic. Congrats Chi. #1!

Best iron I've ever owned.
Had this iron for 8 years with absolutely zero issues. Probably the best iron I've ever owned. No water leaks, ample heat settings and great non-stick coating. I finally had to order a new one due to me dropping mine and it started leaking water. Wasn't leaking a lot, but enough to annoy me. That was totally my fault though and no blame on the manufacturer. Get this iron, you won't regret it.

Sweet irons
Oh yeah, I broke my wifeโs so I had to buy her a new one. She had one like this, but it decor didnโt go in this one. The cord goes in and she absolutely loves it a lot more No I can use hers to do whatever I want with and I donโt touch hers I would suggest getting you one of these. Itโs pretty sweet. as you can see cord on the outside cord within the inside, so much better having it on the inside.

Great Iron, worth the money
I love this iron! It heats up pretty quickly and the steam function and water function works great. I also really like the look of the iron. I had no idea that CHI made clothing irons. Something I donโt like is that the retractable cord sometimes needs to be pulled out farther so that the retractable cord button works and pulls the cord all the way back in. It can be a little annoying sometimes, but nothing too bad. I do wish that it was easier to look into the water reservoir. Itโs a little hard to look into it because of the dark red color. I also like the auto-shut off safety feature and the instructions were easy to follow. Itโs not noisy at all either. I got it on sale at $69 so Iโd say it was worth the money.

Spectacular Iron
The CHI Iron is well-built and versatile, making it suitable for pressing or steaming any garment. The temperature control dial is nearly accurate, allowing you to select the appropriate setting for different fabrics (note that this may vary with other models). The steam function is adjustable, letting you control the level of steam output as needed, which is a fantastic feature. With two press triggers for spray and steam, this iron provides greater precision for detailing garments. The cord retraction button works effectively, provided the cord is straight and only has minor tangles. The titanium ceramic-coated soleplate allows for ease of use when pressing or steaming garments. A key safety feature is the auto shut-off, which prevents the iron from burning garments or starting a fire. It will automatically shut off after 30 minutes if resting on its heel, after 60 seconds when resting on either side and after 60 seconds when resting on the soleplate. Additionally, the self-cleaning feature uses steam to clean out the ports and remove any debris or dirt. **Cons:** The titanium ceramic coating can be scratched, as it is just a coating like that on a nonstick pan. Improper handling can damage it, especially when in contact with zippers, metal buttons, pins, and protrusions on garments. Exercise caution to protect the soleplate. While the retractable cord is convenient, it is not 100% reliable and may jam, preventing the plug from fully retracting. The cord can overlap itself inside the casing, which may cause it to get stuck, so it needs to be guided when the retraction button is engaged. Still worth purchasing๐ฏ

It lasted 3 years - buyer beware
Call me old fashioned, but shouldn't an iron last longer than three years? Mine now no longer turns on, and I can't help but to remember my grandmother's trusty 20 something year old iron that was still going strong when I was much younger. Maybe my expectations are too much, but I'm pretty sure most of these reviews are the type of quick responses that a company seeks out shortly after a sale, that gives a decent picture of how the iron functions weeks after purchase, but says nothing about the durability of the iron. Trust me when I tell you, this product is not worth your purchase, and the company if you write to them shortly after the warranty runs out, will not stand behind their product. I was told directly from the company that it's too bad, the warranty is gone and I guess I just have to buy another iron. But like I said earlier, I don't think my expectations are set too high to be disappointed by a pricey iron lasting only 3 years. Where can I buy a product that actually lasts and the company has honor and stands behind their product with a lifetime warranty? Too much to ask you say? Then how about the company at least stands behind their product that lasts barely 3 years? Therefore, take my word for it, avoid this iron if you expect a product that will last a long time, and that the company will stand behind. Perhaps the company is standing behind this product, but they are so far behind it that they're expectation is that I will have to simply buy a new iron. Don't believe these reviews based off of a short usage of this iron, take this from someone who actually had the iron for 3 years.

Not working. Water leaking. Wire not spinning back
Extreamly disappointed. The water is leaking. The wire not returning to original position. It already burnt 3 of my adaptors as in Dubai we have different plug. Seller please contact me to arrange return and refund. Terrible product

This iron does the work
Have only used a couple of times but very happy so far. I didn't know an iron was suppose to glide & essentially help the ironing process. Smooth, easy to manoeuver, light & don't get me started on the amount of steam this thing produces - it's great. Guess I'm pretty happy with purchase. Hoping it operates as well as it does in a year from now & after another 50 uses.

Impressive because of the Steam output.
I purchased this iron based on the reviews that I had read. It's definitely more expensive than the Brand that I have been using for years and they were not inexpensive models. What this unit excels at, is the Steam output that it generates, so today I wanted to see how it would perform on some thicker pants that I wear in the winter. I came away extremely impressed, as they would not have looked as good with any of the other models that I have used prior. One negative is the cord length is a few feet shorter than my previous models and because it's retractable, it does not exit at the back of the unit but instead to one side, so a little more inconvenient depending on where your ironing board is in relation to the electrical outlet. I was eager to see how it would perform as it's a recent purchase, so tried it once on my shirts and once on the pants. I have been ironing all my life as the receptionist at a company that I had worked for 50 years ago, told me that my shirts do not look pressed, just freshly coming out of the dryer and she was correct, so now my wife is more than happy to let me iron her garments also. In summary, it's the best unit that I have purchased to this day.

Best iron compared to other 3 well-known brands
After a disappointing experience with another brand, I decided to buy a Chi iron. It is 1/5 of the cost of other brands, and it is surpassing my expectations. I am a sewist and this is my 4th iron - and the best of all for now. I love that I can control the amount of steam, and the steam stops when I lift the iron - great! Also, I am impressed with its ironing ability - if it creates a crease, it removes the crease!! Highly recommend it!
