Only have had these for a short time but for the time I've had them they work good, handles are solid and hook is sharp. good meat hooks.

These were a gift to my father. He loves it and takes it with him to hunt deer. The ease of use makes it easier to handle the meat. The build quality is pretty good and solid.

We used these last week when we processed our hogs. I can honestly say they were essential to the job and worked great. The quality is good. They look like they will hold up long term. The ends are super sharp so they are able to get it and hold on strong.

So I got these these for my turkey fryer, not really what they were designed for. But they worked out (and I also wore heavy leather gloves), so a win nonetheless. For the price well worth it. If the handles were end capped, they would have been perfect, but I'm keeping them anyway. They do make a proper hook for my fryer, but I could only find it in a kit with a bunch of stuff I didn't need. A bit too dangerous for a Halloween accessory, but I can see other uses with my grill or smoker, so I'm happy with them. YMMV.

These sturdy tools grab slippery meat for better handling. No one wants to drop their game on the ground after cleaning it. They have many uses and are great for each one.

The hook on the right is a Dexter brand hook, the hook on the left is the thigood brand hook. My first impressions were is this is a decent hook as soon as I started to use it though I immediately realized that they had not been this hook over quite enough so I ended up doing it a bit of modifying myself and bent it over more. I will admit they used a tough steel and they tempered it well because I had to exert quite a bit of force to bend the hook is it a really good hook no but will it get you through the day yeah. Just be ready to bend the hook more I wouldn't recommend trying to use a hammer because you will just Mar it up you need to put it in a vise or in a cheater bar and bend it with pressure. Don't heat it up or you'll lose your temper on the steel. All in all I wouldn't buy again but two for the price of one it'll get me through for at least 6 months next time I'll buy Dexter
