I'm not sure i can go back to the regular style. My portal is horrible compared to this kit. Easy install, soldering isn't "required " for use.

Used the product lightly, set in my leg between rounds and my controller slide off and landed on the trigger part breaking the mechanism making it all unusable. Very cheap and not durable. Broke from maybe a 3 foot fall.

Awesome, easy to put together in an evening if you're patient and familiar with basic repair methodology. Interesting in comparison to the stock controller and provides a nice sense of tactile and crisp feedback in comparison to the mushy profile of the regular buttons. If you're interested in keeping the should button functionality, buy a second controller or opt for the kit that only changes the face buttons.

Bought this to make a dedicated FPS/TPS PS5 controller. I'm not a super competitive player, but wanted something a bit better than the stock controller. Installation video was helpful, but was still a bit finicky because parts are pretty small and you're working in pretty tight spaces. Package was missing the pin to push out the rods for R2/L2, but a cell phone SIM ejector did the trick. After an hour, got everything back together and it works great! Satisfying click like a mouse on the triggers, bumpers, face buttons and d-pad, and the travel is similar to a mouse. (I currently use an OP1WE) I also own a DualSense Edge, and this mod has way less travel at only 2 mm. Added the Hotline grip stickers to my controller, along with some Galaxy Kontrol Freeks. Overall this setup rocks, especially with single shot weapons that require one trigger squeeze per shot. I actually prefer this over the DualSense Edge, even without the back buttons. Highly recommended!
