Work in a cubical in a federal office. Suffer from IBS and while I’m lucky and have mostly men immediately around me, still felt bad when women walk by after I ripped one. Bought these with low expectations. As long as you sit firmly on the pad, even the worst flatulence is muted and barely noticeable. I used to make the men around me cry at least once a week. Been over a month now and I’ve been ripping twice as many farts and today was the first day anyone has smelled anything. Poor guy was sitting directly next to me, my fan blowing directly in his face as we discussed a file, and he barely registered anything. I can barely believe it myself, but these stupid things really do work.

As a person who suffers from many digestive issues which causes almost constant flatuance, these are a God send. There was a pad called "The Flatuance Filter" that I used with much success. These pads work just as well and is far cheaper. I just place one of these on my chairs and the odors are GONE! Even works on car seats.

Very flimsy and thin. Does not stay in place. Does not absorb like other thicker brands. Going in the trash.

These are a bit more tightly woven than some other carbon filters that I've used. It means that wind does not pass through as easily, and therefore scents often ends up bouncing off of it instead of going through it and being absorbed. If you angle the wind directly onto the pad it may absorb the majority of scent but if there are any gaps there may be leakage and therefore all the scent may not be absorbed. Good, but not excellent.

These are working as described. Had gastric bypass in 2005, and they sure don’t tell you that you will have a bad gas issue for the rest of your life. If you eat sugar free products sweetened with Maltitol, and any normally gassy food you become a constant gas machine. Because your intestines are rerouted, it is forceful and without warning and it is super foul smelling. You never know when, so it’s quite uncomfortable when around others, or on long drives. I got the three pack. One for my recliner, one for the car, and one for my craft room. So far, they work great. I wonder how long they will work, but so far it’s made a big difference. No more constant embarrassment! Wish I’d known about these years ago.

I just had ankle surgery so can't get up easily and I wrap this around me and avoid any air gaps to relieve myself ;) and am impressed at how well it works! Better than I expected for sure!
