Great quality cord for generator hookup to my house. Plenty of length. Heavier than I expected.

We used this cord to connect a 13KW generator to a 50 foot motor yacht (with a damaged on-board generator) during a major power outage. The cord worked exactly as expected. We were on generator power for 2 weeks straight (24x7) pulling maximum amps and the cord and fittings never even got warm. Surprisingly pliable as well. I am very pleased with the cord.

This is a heavy duty cable for 50 amp generator connection, and is surprisingly flexible given the size. The cable that I received has two 6 AWG conductors for the two hots, and two 8 AWG conductors for the ground and neutral. This is stamped on insulation of the cable. This is allowed by NEC and code compliant, but others posted photos showing 3 6awg and 1 8awg for the ground… so my cable is slightly different.

This is a great replacement for your 50 amp RV cord. We encountered an open ground circuit which nearly welded our 50 amp cord to our trailer at the socket. I was able to remove the cable and head (which was melted and burned) there was no damage to the socket. I ordered this cord and got it the next day. Fixed the open ground and plugged this in. Perfect fit and the price was less than half what I thought it would be.
