Great one in the franchise. Shows the depravity some men sink to and the revenge of one being abused and it's longer term effect. A real sit back, don't think, just enjoy.

This was to my mind not quite as good as the first two films, very good but just that bit different to be a little under par from the others.

After watching the previous two DVD'S which I was very impressed with. It was about time that the Victim took revenge and being a woman it was even better. Making those men suffer for what they put her through, was really good. I recently read all the reviews on the 3rd DVD and most people said it wasn't as good! Well I've seen all of them now and I agree the first two were better in away but the third didn't disappoint me at all and I'm so pleased that I watched it. I highly recommend all of them and in my opinion you won't be disappointed.

GREAT FILM. VERY VIOLENT , BLOODY AND GORY. JUST THE SORT OF THING I LOVE TO WATCH LATE AT NIGHT. WELL WORTH WATCHING JUST LIKE NUMBERS 1 & 2.

I enjoyed this sequel, which picks up after the events of the first film. A young woman - Jennifer Hills (played by Sarah Butler) - is mentally suffering, after the horrors she experienced, including assault, kidnap, gang rape and attempted murder. If you haven't seen "I Spit on your Grave' then I suggest you watch that film prior to this one. Some time has passed and Jennifer now attends therapy sessions, along with others who've suffered rape. Eventually, after hearing about other people's ordeals, she decides to enact revenge of those who caused harm to those attending these sessions. There's righteous violence and gore. Not a film for the fainthearted! While I enjoyed it, this movie is not as good as the first. And it's ending - which I won't spoil - is a bit weird. Worth watching, but not fantastic.

This one was just nearly as painful and grousome as the first and second but still a great horror movie. I hope there will be I Spit On Your Grave 4 in the future.

Viene a mancare del tutto la zozzeria e la brutalità selvaggia del capostipite (resa ancora più disturbante dalle location boschive della Louisiana) e la regia televisiva di Braunstein appiattisce un pò le efferatezze e la dimensione sporca e laida che marcava il remake. Si passa ad ambienti urbani e notturni, si omaggia il "rape and revenge" ottantiano (sparso a piene mani) immerso nell'inferno delle metropoli (ben resa Los Angeles coi suoi vicoli e i suoi quartieri meno turistici), dove il regista guarda a certo cinema winneriano (i giustizieri bronsoniani, Sporco Week-End), agli angeli della vendetta ferrariani (Jennifer cambia il nome in Angela-e un motivo ci sarà-agghingandosi da prostituta per eliminare il maschio -nessun uomo si salverà-, proprio come faceva la muta Tana nel capolavoro di Abel), con spizzichi e bocconi di Angel Killer e Savage Streets e non ultimo il Neil Jordan del Buio dell'anima. La comunità di terapia di gruppo di donne abusate (tra cui una ragazzina stuprata continuamente dal padre e un uomo di cui la figlia si è suicidata dopo uno stupro) dà al film una certa originalità (nel gruppo c'è anche Marla, una pazza sciroccata, violata dal brutale compagno, che trasporta Jennifer in una delirante crociata antiuomo-l'umiliazione del vecchio che si urina sotto, l'avvertimento al padre stupratore nel garage sotterraneo-in un sodalizio femmineo malsano che ricorda quello della Morte non sa leggere (o del Buio della mente) Jennifer/Angela , quì, viene solo molestata o avvicinata da maschi ingrifati, ma mai toccata. Solo quando passerà all'azione (per colpa di una giustizia inefficente e impotente) ci saranno barlumi della sua ferocia primigenia Prima con sogni ad occhi aperti (far saltare teste a chi la blocca nel parco, sfondare il cranio a martellate al commesso del reparto ferramenta che le sfiora il sedere), per poi concretizzare la sua crociata punitiva antimaschio. Una furia di pura misandria che porta Jennifer/Angela a uscire di notte per compiere le sue bibliche vendette Coltello da cucina messo nelle calze autoreggenti, vestita da provocatrice sessuale per uccidere, o da scolaretta miikiana per seviziare. La violenza e più contenuta rispetto al capostipite monroeniano, anche se schegge di feroce violenza splatter inondano lo schermo (su tutti una fellazio oltre i limiti del porno, con tanto di pene squarciato e aperto come un tacchino) Il tubo di ferro piantato nel sedere a martellate al padre stupratore, e una variazione di quella del fucile che subiva lo sceriffo nel primo I spit, che comunque fà il suo (doloroso) effetto. Non tutti i raid punitivi, però, le riescono (lo scontro con il bestione nel vicolo) e la polizia la sgama (anche se "protetta" da un detective che segue le indagini sui morti ammazzati) Alla fine Jennifer sbrocca, e la sua diventa una pura missione di morte. Il prefinale fà storcere il naso, ma la sorpendente chiusa di ferina violenza femminea che scivola nella follia (zuffa con detenute) lascia il segno. Come sequel ha un suo perchè (ci sono anche flashback del primo, in cui Jennifer resta imprigionata nel trauma indellebile delle violenze subite) che azzera il numero 2 (che era uno spin off), ricollegandosi direttamente al remake. Really pissed off. Not only was the cover damaged as seen on the photo that ends at a weird part of her body.. That i have to switch regions in order to watch it.. Which i cannot do SO the dvd is useless..Not impressed. Dont bother buying.
