Natural Nasal Spray with Xylitol, 45 ml (Pack of 4)

I’ve used steroid sprays and decongestants for hay fever but they only gave temporary relief. This spray is really effective, and very pleasant to use. I can actually feel my airways opening and there is no nasty taste at the back of my throat. One spray each side is more than enough.

This is very effective but comes from abroad so has to go through customs . Why cant it be sold in the UK ? The best nasal spray i found has been taken from the market this one is second best

I have vasomotor rhinitis, and even when I don't have a blocked nose, it still feels like I do. Steroid nasal sprays are the only things that work for me, but of course they only work for a week. Xlear is supplied in a bottle with slightly awkward wings that you press to spray it. I'm never quite sure how to do this properly as I can't seem to hook two fingers over and use my thumb to push the bottle up. Weirdly my hand isn't big or strong enough, so I normally have to use two hands. The spray instantly makes your sinuses tingle. It's the kind of feeling that makes your eyes screw up and your lips curl. You then get a sweet taste at the back of your throat, which others have mentioned they dislike, but I find completely unoffensive. Following use I get a bit sniffly (which is good as blowing my nose is usually impossible), so I have to use long before I start applying makeup. The BEST part is within 10-20 minutes of use, stuff starts coming out of my nose that I can't even believe was up there, and I have never been able to get out of there any other way, even with a Neti pot. I've been using twice daily for two weeks, and although this hasn't made a significant impact on my sinuses, it does provide me with some daily joy of being able to blow my nose properly for the first time in years. I hope that following continued use the years of snot will eventually deplete and I'll be a normal person again. Hopefully.

Works really well for clearing sinuses. No weird taste or side effects. Maybe a little expensive for the amount of sprays you get but does the job.

This stuff is incredible. I am not sure why I stumbled upon it here on amazon, but it caught my eye since my dentist had waxed eloquent about why Xylitol was such a good sweetener, because it decreased pathogenic oral bacteria. I had researched online and found the process was because it caused slipperiness and bacteria could not adhere to tissues. Therefore I started using xylitol for baking, when making coleslaw dressing, etc routinely. I have type II and it does not cause a glycemic response for me at all. I ordered a 3 pack and it arrived yesterday. I immediately opened it and used it. My problem is with allergic rhinitis and vasomotor rhinitis causing swollen mucosa and terrible stuffiness. This all used to be worse-before I had septoplasty to fix my horrible septum I often had no breathing passage at all on one side or the other. I had chronic sinus infections, often being on big-gun antibiotics for months at a time prior to the surgery. I sometimes went to bed and got up with the same sinus headache for days. The septoplasty helped alleviate the infections. But that did not fix the allergic rhinitis, just made it more tolerable. I still was having stuffiness at night, post nasal drip (though no infection) which causes coughing when laying down. Being an RN, I resorted to sugar-free eucalyptus throat lozenges-not very safe when you go to sleep, and Benadryl nightly, sometimes twice if I woke up very stuffy. as well as Flonase which has steroids and is much more expensive. Holy cow, since I used this the first time yesterday, my head has been clearer than I remember for years. I am simply amazed at how quickly I responded to it. I just need 1 spray and so think I will use it at more frequent intervals than twice a day, if needed at first. However, it seems now that I will only need 1 spray in each nostril twice a day. Hallelujah!!! I took it with me when I went to the dentist today and he was excited-he had not heard of this and was glad to know its on the market. As for me, I am going to order more right now so I don't ever, ever run out of this stuff.

I caught a cold, and I am 12 weeks pregnant. Vasoconstrictor drops or sprays are prohibited, but I rely on them very much in my daily life. I tried some saline solutions and sprays with essential oils, but nothing worked. Only this spray works for me almost as a vasoconstrictor. It is safe for pregnant and nursing women. I was hesitant about the price, which is almost twice as much as other non-medical sprays. But the bottle is twice as large, so it’s a good deal for me. The taste is sweet, and I don’t like it. Fortunately, the taste disappears quickly.
