I thought I was buying sweets. What I actually bought was a chemical weapon disguised as confectionery. The first victim was my mate Dave. He popped one in, and within seconds he’d lost all control of his facial muscles. He looked like a Picasso painting of himself — eyes going one way, mouth another. My wife bravely volunteered next. She lasted maybe 4 seconds before she started to shake uncontrollably and produce a steady stream of dribble like a malfunctioning garden hose. The dog wouldn’t go near her. My kids (foolishly thinking they were hard) each tried one. One ran straight to the kitchen to gargle milk, the other just lay on the sofa staring at the ceiling like he’d seen things no child should see. The flavour? Imagine being slapped by Poseidon while simultaneously licking a car battery. That’s the taste. 10/10 — would buy again. These sweets don’t just test your taste buds; they test your will to live. Highly recommend for parties, stag dos, or if you want to find out which of your friends is truly the weakest link.

Very sour and long lasting and good taste

Very disappointed, not really sour at all. Don’t waste your money.

The outter coatimg is super sour and relatively tasty. The problem is that it lasts only about 10/15 seconds, then the sourness disappears. The blue raspberry sweet underneath is quite nice too and lasts a little while. Would be great if there were a inner core of the sour coating stuff that would burst open when you get to the middle 'core'. I would buy again, if they were cheaper.

Definitely very strong on the outside. The sherbet coating is what gives the impression of sourness and is so potent that it could leave your mouth feeling as if you’ve eaten some potent acid. Was actually anticipating a good sour raspberry flavour, but just felt like I got a tasteless mouthful of the citric acid, malic acid & bicarbonate soda mix. They’re okay as a one off novelty maybe as a trick or treat sweet. Otherwise not that great.

Wouldn't touch them if you paid me but all the kids thought they were the best thing ever!

Super sour - yes, berry flavour tastes a bit odd but I’m guessing that’s the citric acid destroying my taste buds. I love sour flavours, can eat lemons, so really enjoyed these although the sour intensity doesn’t last long.

I couldn't handle but my 8 year old could manage 3 of then, very sour , worth buying

5 stelle perché per me sono davvero buone. L acido si sente per i 10/20 secondi.... ma per me che sono abituata a questi sapori non è così acida, invece per mio marito è quasi estrema 😂

It was actually very sour, especially at first and fun to try!! Towards the end it becomes sweet inside. And if not stored and contained properly, it loses its sourness.
