Great earbuds at an amazing price!
These apple earbuds are amazing! They sound great for the size and price. I mainly use the two sets I have with a Nintendo Switch 2, a Cassette player, and a Digital Audio player. The sound is on point and they get plenty loud if you want that. Apple used to include these with their phones but stopped once they realized how good people thought they were. They figured out they could make money selling them separately. Anyway thus goes crappy capitalism. At least they exist and are great!

Cheap and efficient in ear earbuds for your PS5
I purchased these in hopes that they would work for my PlayStation 5. I dislike the way regular earbuds feel in my ears and I do not like over the ear headsets. These are very comfortable in my ears and play the audio from my PS5 right into my ears. However, in order to use the mic, you have to go into the PS5 audio settings and set the audio output to party only.

Simple but Work perfectly
I’ve always liked Apple EarPods because they’re simple, comfortable, and just work. The sound quality is clear and balanced, especially for music, phone calls, and everyday listening. I specifically wanted the 3.5mm version because it works with devices that still have a headphone jack, and I don’t have to worry about Bluetooth pairing, charging batteries, or losing connection. Just plug them in and they’re ready to use. The built-in microphone works well for calls, and the volume controls are very convenient. They’re also lightweight and comfortable enough for me to wear for a long time. If you want a dependable pair of wired headphones without spending a lot of money, these are a great choice. Sometimes keeping it simple is the best option!

My Everyday Wired Earbuds: Honest Take on Apple EarPods with 3.5mm Plug After Weeks in Riyadh
I grabbed these Apple EarPods with the 3.5mm plug a few weeks back and they’ve quickly become my daily go-to headphones. With my iPhone and iPad both on USB-C now, I still wanted a solid pair of wired buds that don’t need charging or Bluetooth fuss. These classic white ones with the old-school jack fit the bill perfectly and have been a lifesaver for practical, no-nonsense listening. Right out of the box they feel super light and comfortable—slipped straight into my ears with no weird pressure. The fit is snug enough for most people (including me) and the remote control on the cable is a game-changer. Volume up/down, pause/play, and skip tracks all work flawlessly with my phone or laptop. I use them every morning on the Riyadh metro commute; pop them in, fire up Spotify or a podcast, and the sound is clear and balanced. Vocals come through crisp, there’s decent bass for the price, and it’s loud enough without distortion. No battery anxiety means they’re always ready when I’m stuck in traffic or running late. The mic is probably my favorite practical feature. I take a ton of hands-free calls while driving around the city—traffic here can be brutal—and people on the other end say I sound crystal clear, even with the AC blasting or windows down. No more shouting into my phone or dealing with Bluetooth dropouts. At work I plug them straight into my MacBook for long video meetings or when I’m editing reports and need to focus without disturbing the office. The wired connection means zero lag and full audio quality every single time. Travel is another big win. I tossed them in my bag for a quick weekend trip and they saved me multiple times—airport layovers for watching shows, hotel gym sessions (they stay put better than I expected for light workouts), and even just chilling in the car with the aux cable. They’re tiny, lightweight, and the cable is long enough to reach comfortably without tangling up in my pocket. In Riyadh’s heat they never feel sticky or uncomfortable like some bulkier headphones do. Sound-wise they’re not audiophile level, but for everyday use they punch above their weight—music feels lively, podcasts are easy to follow, and movies have good dialogue separation. They work with pretty much any 3.5mm device I’ve tried, from my old iPod to my laptop. Noise isolation isn’t amazing (you’ll still hear the metro announcements), but that’s actually handy when I need to stay aware of my surroundings. Yeah, they can slip out if you’re running hard or shaking your head a lot, and the build feels a bit basic, but after daily use they’re still going strong with zero issues. For the price they deliver reliable, hassle-free audio that brings my wired gear back to life. If you want simple, always-ready earbuds that excel at real-life tasks like commuting, calls, and quick entertainment, these Apple EarPods are a no-brainer. Five stars—grab a pair and thank me later! Low price, better-than-average quality, iffy durability
UPDATE: Today I accidentally sheared the jack off of these headphones -- the metal portion of the jack split in half when I accidentally swiped the cord. Normally the jack just pops out of the headphone connector, but this time half of the jack got stuck in the headphone port, so I had to disassemble my laptop and retrieve the audio input chip. Thankfully the jack itself is easy to push out from the other side with a plastic spudger. Popped right out, laptop is A-OK, all audio functions intact. I have absolutely NOT EVER had any other headphone jack break in half, in my ENTIRE LIFE. This could indicate build quality issues; Wired headphones are less important to Apple these days. Or maybe I just got unlucky and this sort of hardware breakage could happen to anyone. Anyway, this pair of EarPods lasted about three months. Audio quality was as expected until I snapped the jack in half with my sasquatch arms. I am ordering another pair because the price is right -- especially compared to similar (lower-quality) earbuds available at big box stores for $25 or even $40. If you want dirt-cheap wired earbuds that are easily replaceable, EarPods are still a no-brainer, even after all these years. Original Review: Adequate headphones. Mostly reliable. Very capable of supplying rumbling bass and crisp treble on a wide soundstage, however the in-ear angle is often not correct for most frequencies to travel uninhibited. You need earbud covers for these to stay in place, and even then you have to adjust the earbuds juuuuuust right to enjoy quality audio. I often need to press the earbuds slightly forward or backward when I want the most from my mobile music. For the most part, Apple EarPods will sound a bit tinny, with better-than-average bass response provided you use earbud covers. If you jostle the earbuds a bit and hold them in place they will perform well. Durability is iffy because of one weakpoint: After about a year of constant use, the wires break down near the Y-junction where left and right earbuds join together. The rubber pulls free of its housing at the Y-junction. After this happens, it is very easy to accidentally introduce static electricity into the internals. I've zapped three pairs of headphones in three years by moving a large blanket around. This is usually how I find out the rubber is compromised. Cost of repairs tends to exceed cost of purchasing a new unit, which is a definite plus for budget headphones that sound pretty good.

Great. Who needs gaming headphones? These are the top notch headphones for gaming and overall usage. The sound has little to no imperfections. I’ve been at my set up for hours at a time and never had any discomfort with these, EVER. They’re great, stay in the ear snug as well.

Consistently Reliable AirPods with Solid Build
These AirPods are always my go-to because they are consistently good and always sound great, which keeps me coming back to buy them again. They are perfect for anyone who does not like rubber tips, like myself. The build quality feels solid, and with proper care, they typically last up to 2 years from my experience.

Reliable & Long-Lasting!
I’m so glad I decided to get my earbuds directly from Apple because it’s truly an investment—and not even a big one—considering how long they last! The quality is excellent, and unlike cheaper alternatives, these actually hold up over time without any issues. The sound is crisp, the connection is seamless, and they just work the way they’re supposed to. On top of that, they have a sleek, cutesy design that makes them even more enjoyable to use. Whether for music, calls, or just everyday convenience, they get the job done perfectly. If you’re debating whether to buy from the original source, I say go for it—it’s 100% worth it!

Solid multipurpose inexpensive headphones, basically, modern classic
These are my go-to "working headphones" to use with my laptop. You don't have to be an Apple fan or even have an Apple laptop to appreciate these - for just $30 CAD you get top-notch, time-tested Apple design (even the packaging is pleasant to open), very decent sound quality, and a good built-in mic to do Zoom calls or whatever. If you are an audiophile (or a gamer) you probably should look for something more high-end, but nowadays I personally would only listen to music through wireless earbuds anyway. These ones are designed mostly for a casual, stationary use. On the down side, if you an avid user like me these headphones can get loose quite quickly, especially at the joint connector where the two wires merge into one. These are not the most robust headphones in the world for sure and I have to buy new ones about every 1.5-2 years or so. Given the price, however, I don't mind at all.
